John Cena And Nikki Bella's Odds Dip In Mania 33 Betting

Paddy Power customers have sided with John Cena and Nikki Bella to defeat The Miz and Maryse at WrestleMania 33.

Earlier tonight, I published a post noting that the betting company had installed odds for the mixed tag team match that will take place on April 2nd. At the time, Cena and his partner were out at 11/8 with their foes available at 4/9. Betting has now forced Cena and Nikki Bella into EVENS while Miz and Maryse have drifted out to 4/6.

Nearly everyone I've chatted to this evening about these odds have sided with the outsiders. 

I haven't placed a wager, but thought that the oddsmakers were correct to have Miz and Maryse as the favourites only because of the fact that John Cena is expected to take another leave of absence post-WrestleMania.

    Would love a market on there being an engagement on air. They've hinted at it enough, and would surely be a 'WM moment' replayed forever

    The power couple to lose at mania? cant be having it.... I know Cena is leaving for a movie but Tampa John, The Shovel? lose the first and only time he hooks up with his misses... what were Paddy thinking?

    If Cena does propose to Nikki, it would be strange to do it after a loss....I'd think they would win this to get their karma in the story and to set up the atmosphere for Cena to do his stuff.

      Or... You have Maryse pin Nikki, Nikki is naturally upset & Cena saves the night for her by proposing. I think that makes more sense. You go from a big low to a massive high & they'll air it on the season finale of Total Bellas. Cena & Nikki winning & then Cena proposing, for me, is redundant.

      hmmm maybe, maybe after the loss Miz gets on the mic and confirms that Cena is a loser, their relationship is fake and then Cena counters with the proposal... interesting... like your thinking... takes away the loss... just like they do when someone wins but straight away gets a beatdown. proper 50/50 booking :)

    It makes sense to do it after a loss so he can talk about "for better or worse" and their love being super important and all that blah blah blah. I mean Macho got Liz back after his big loss, I'd expect something similar.
