Cena To Propose At Mania Betting Update

The Paddy Power customers have once again sided with John Cena and Nikki Bella becoming engaged at WrestleMania 33.

In a number of posts earlier this week, I noted that the sportsbook had released a market where customers could bet on 'John Cena To Propose To Nikki Bella'. Within the first couple of hours of noticing the market being open, the odds for the 'Yes' had shortened from 4/9 to 2/9.

Then - a couple of days later - I returned to the page and noticed that there appeared to have been interest in the 'No' as it had moved in from from 11/4 into 13/8.

As of this morning, the 'Yes' has evidently been backed as it has moved in from 4/9 to 3/10.

The table above shows how the odds have moved at certain points through the week.

I haven't placed a bet on this market, but - if I did - I would have backed the 'Yes' as I believe the company has been building to Cena popping the question as far back as the Nikki Bella and Natalya feud when the latter said something along the lines of 'John is never going to marry you'.

The Miz and Maryse have also stirred it up in their parody of Total Bellas where the entire theme of these spots was teasing John Cena proposing but not actually getting to do it.

Another thing that points to Cena proposing to his girlfriend is that those reality shows have had numerous wedddings and you can't get any bigger than this one, if it were to happen.

When available, the market can be found alongside other WrestleMania odds on Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page.
