Strong Favourite Set In Raw Women's Championship Match And More

Alexa Bliss is a strong favourite to successfully retain the WWE Raw Women's Championship in the kendo stick on a pole match at tonight's Extreme Rules 2017 pay-per-view.

As of the time of writing, the champion is a short 1/18 to overcome the challenge of Bayley (7/1).

The match market, which first went live on Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page this past Thursday, opened with Bliss as an 8/13 favourite. She was backed in 8/15 initially, but then the market stalled up until the move that came sometime today.

This isn't the only market that has seen some action today.

The mixed tag team match - that will see Sasha Banks and Rich Swann team up to take on Alicia Fox and Noam Dar - has flipped once again.

The babyfaces are once again favourites to get a result over Dar and Fox.

Neville is back to 1/14 to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship with a decision over Austin Aries. He was 1/9 earlier on after drifting out from 1/14. Aries is now 11/2 to go over.

The Miz, who was a 2/5 favourite at the start of the day has been backed into 1/7. This means - Dean Ambrose - who had been 7/4 is now out to 4/1.

Cesaro and Sheamus are now 1/33 favourites to defeat The Hardys inside a steel cage. They were 1/7 at the start of the day. The current WWE Raw Tag Team Champions have jumped out to 9/1 from 10/3.

The main event market is showing Finn Balor's price lowering.

The first-ever WWE Universal Champion has lowered from 12s into 10/1. Samoa Joe is still the favourite, but his price has eased from 8/11 into 4/5.

Odds correct as of 5:20pm BST and taken from Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page.

  1. Here come all the early money (excluding womens match) again... I don't think Balor is winning otherwise that 12/1 would have plummeted hard just now.

I suspect a lot of fan money will land on Balor now, though.

  2. Kalisto vs Apollo Crews is the pre show match... I wonder if this changes the mixed tag result.

    1. Doubt this would change anything. The mixed tag match was never announced as being on the pre-show.

    2. Oh I know, I think most people just assumed it would be until this match just got announced... These flips are annoying me now though.

  3. Banks and Swann should win, Banks can't afford to lose another match at a PPV. Also there is too many heel favourites.
