WWE Championship Time Duration Prop Snipped In Favour Of Under In MITB 2017 Wagering

The Paddy Power Sportsbook has cut the odds of the WWE Championship match going less than 17 minutes and fifty-nine seconds at this Sunday's WWE Money in the Bank 2017 pay-per-view.

An over/under market - where clients could wager on the match duration - was first published on Monday evening. When it went live, the line was set at '17:59' with both the over and under a 5/6 pick 'em.

The oddsmakers have now cut the 5/6 for the 'Under' into 8/13 while they have increased the over option to 6/5.

I was one of the early birds who took the under. My bet was placed under the assumption that the men's ladder match will be the main event of the night and that it will have the most time dedicated to it.

Another thing that confirmed my decision is the fact that - for their previous PPV meeting - Jinder Mahal and Randy Orton went fifteen seconds shy of sixteen minutes.

Despite strongly leaning on the two reasons for backing the 'Under', there are two things that could favour the 'Over'.

If it's the main event, it could go eighteen minutes or longer. Another thing working against the 'Under' is that - as of the time of publishing - there are only five bouts announced for the night.
