The Paddy Power Sportsbook has once again cut the odds for one of its Money in the Bank ladder match specials.
On June 5th, the oddsmakers added a special to its page for MITB where customers could wager on how the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's editor - Dave Meltzer - rates the men's ladder match.
The option on the board was for the editor to give the match 'four stars or more'. It opened at 5/6. I found the prospect of Meltzer rating the match four stars or more quite appealing so had a look through all of his ratings for previous ladder matches. It ended up convincing me to place a bet. I wrote about it in this post.
A couple of days after placing my wager, the sportsbook snipped the price into 4/6. It has now continued its descent and is now down to 4/7.
This wasn't the only Wrestling Observer selection that was published for this match. The bookie has also priced up 7/1 odds for the match being rated five stars. I highly doubt this has a chance of winning, so haven't backed it.
