William Hill's WWE Extreme Rules 2017 Odds For Sunday Afternoon

It has been a day since the oddsmakers from WilliamHill.com opened betting for tonight's WWE Extreme Rules 2017. In this post, I'll look at the odds currently available on the company's website and compare them to how they were yesterday.

Date/Time
Swann and Banks
Dar and Fox
3/6 2pm
1/10
11/2
4/6 7:20am
5/2
2/7
2pm
5/4
4/7

The team of Rich Swann and Sasha Banks started off as 1/10 favourites to get a win over Noam Dar and Alicia Fox. Following yesterday's betting frenzy - which forced Dar and Fox into favoiritism - the sportsbook flipped the market.
When I checked in this morning, Dar and Fox were still favourites. They still are, although it appears as though the Sunday punters have been siding with the babyfaces as they have shortened from 5/2 into 5/4.

Date/Time
Neville
Austin Aries
3/6 2pm
1/12
6/1
4/6 7:20am
1/16
7/1
2pm
1/6
7/2

Neville was a 1/12 favourite to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship over Austin Aries in the submission match when the market first went live. His price was as short as 1/16 earlier today, but it appears as though the customers have had a speculative punt on the challenger. Austin Aries' price has been halved from 7/1 into 7/2.

Date/Time
Hardys
Cesaro and Sheamus
3/6 2pm
9/1
1/25
4/6 7:20am
5/1
1/9
2pm
10/3
1/5

It seems the William Hill customers have sided with The Hardys to win inside the steel cage. They opened as 9/1 outsiders, but are now 10/3. The challengers - Cesaro and Sheamus - have been eased up from 1/25 into 1/5.

Date/Time
Alexa Bliss
Bayley
3/6 2pm
1/2
6/4
4/6 7:20am
2/5
7/4
2pm
2/7
5/2

The current WWE Raw Women's Champion - Alexa Bliss - has been the punters' choice to win the kendo stick on a pole match as her price has decreased through the three stages that I've followed the moves.

Date/Time
Dean Ambrose
The Miz
3/6 2pm
7/1
1/16
4/6 7:20am
6/4
1/2
2pm
5/4
4/7

The Intercontinental Championship market has seen Dean Ambrose fall from 7s. The Miz, who opened as a 1/16, is still the bookie's favourite. However, he has been moved up to 4/7 while Ambrose has lowered.

Date/Time
Joe
Balor
Rollins
Wyatt
Reigns
3/6 2pm
1/4
6/1
6/1
10/1
14/1
4:15pm
EVS
8/1
6/5
12/1
16/1
4/6 7:20am
EVS
12/1
8/11
22/1
22/1
2pm
11/10
8/1
5/6
16/1
33/1

There are a few things that I've noticed in this market.
  • Roman Reigns has drifted out from 14s and is now at 33/1
  • Bray Wyatt had been on the drift, but - for some reason - has been cut from 22/1 to 16/1 since this morning
  • Same goes for Finn Balor. He drifted out until having a price cut today. He went to 8/1 from 12s
  • Seth Rollins went from 6/1 into 6/5 within the early stages of the market having been opened. He was soon moved into favouritism. And - despite Rollins being second elsewhere - the company still has The Architect (okay, King Slayer) at the top of its list.
  • Samoa Joe is the second-favourite. I noted this morning that EVENS was the best price you could have found for a Joe. 11/10 means it's now slightly better. No other domestic bookmaker has Joe a second-favourite.
The company will release its Extreme Rules in-play specials later on tonight. If you have any suggestions for the traders, you can leave them in the comments section of THIS POST.
