John Cena A Favourite To Win The 2018 WWE Royal Rumble

John Cena has moved into favouritism in Kambi's 2018 WWE Royal Rumble market.

The wrestler - who will return to WWE on tonight's edition of Smackdown - was moved from 13/2 to 6/4 yesterday.

The move is very likely a result of the news that the WrestleMania 34 main event - which was scheduled to see Roman Reigns challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship - may have been pushed forward to this year's SummerSlam.

With the original main event being changed, a meeting between John Cena and Roman Reigns would be a very strong Plan B.

If Roman Reigns .vs. John Cena is a title match, one way to get there would be to have Cena win the Royal Rumble to book his place into the Mania main event.

Cena being slashed to 6/4 means that the original favourite, Reigns, has drifted out. With the Big Dog potentially holding the Universal strap in January, if the reports are accurate, this would mean that it's unlikely he'll be a participant in the battle royal. Therefore, the oddsmakers have switched Reigns out to where Cena was before yesterday - 13/2.

Interestingly, the traders have also increased the price for the current challenger to the Universal Title.

Samoa Joe, who was previously 3/1, has been raised to 4/1.

If you're looking to back John Cena, the best available price can be found with Betfair and Paddy Power. He's 5/2 with both firms.

Betfair's WWE odds are found under 'Special Bets' on the Betfair Website.

Paddy Power's WWE Odds are found under 'Sports Noveltites' on the Paddy Power Website.
