Paddy Power Publishes More SummerSlam 2017 Betting Markets

The oddsmakers from the Paddy Power Sportsbook have just began to publish more WWE SummerSlam 2017 betting markets.

In this post, I'll run through all of the new markets and their opening prices. There are a few selections that I like.

Firstly, they have given Finn Balor odds of 5/4 to get a result over Bray Wyatt (4/7). This one stands out as Balor will be wrestling as the Demon King and has already lost to Wyatt on Monday night. I strongly believe Balor will win this match.

Akira Tozawa is 11/10 to successfully retain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against the former titleholder, Neville (4/6).

Rusev is 8/15 for his bout against Randy Orton. A victory for The Viper will pay out at odds of 11/8.

The Usos are 5/4 to get a result against the present WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions, The New Day. The champs are 4/7.

Big Cass is a 1/2 favourite for his match against Big Show (6/4).

The Smackdown Women's Championship market has the titleholder, Naomi and her challenger - Natalya - both priced up at 5/6 each.

Baron Corbin - who failed to win the WWE Championship after cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on Tuesday night - is a 13/8 underdog to John Cena (8/13). It might be a controversial pick but, with Corbin having lost on Tuesday and Cena moving to Raw on Monday, I like The Lone Wolf to win here. The only thing that would turn me away from backing him is if there is any truth to the rumour that he is in the dog house with the company.

AJ Styles is a 6/5 outsider to win the US Championship match against Kevin Owens (8/13). With Shane McMahon as the referee, and all signs pointing to Kevin Owens .vs. Shane McMahon down the road, I think Styles is the best bet here.

  1. I think Owens will win. It makes feel like Shane will be on Aj side, so Kevin should win.

Balor looks like most obvious choice

    1. How do they go from Owens winning to Owens having a gripe against Shane McMahon? It's very possible that Hell in a Cell will have Owens versus McMahon in one of the cell matches, so it would make sense for Owens to lose and blame McMahon for being screwed to build to their feud.

  2. David, who do you think will win the CW title match?

    1. Tough call. Is it too soon to have Neville regain it?

    2. Normally, I'd say yes. But the title change on Monday felt very random. I have a feeling the belt will switch hands again.

  3. How would Kevin win here if owens vs Shane is the plan

They removed KO face of America shirt , they removed tinantron

It's pretty clear that owens will lose due to Shane McMahon which will lead to owens vs Shane in the future

    All favours AJ

    2. Ain't happening because Owens vs Shane McMahon is the plan

They don't go for unpredictability all the time. Sometimes , they go for predictable results

  4. Agree with your suggestion that Corbin will win... don't think Cena has a problem putting people over these days and Corbin really needs a win now without his briefcase.
