Nakamura And More Backed In SummerSlam Betting At Paddy Power

There have been a few SummerSlam selections whose prices have been cut within the past two hours over on the Paddy Power Website.

Shinsuke Nakamura's odds to win the WWE Championship match have moved in to 1/7 from the 4/9 he had been for a couple of days.

This has obviously forced the oddsmakers to push Jinder Mahal out. He went from 13/8 to 7/2.

Alexa Bliss has been lowered from 5/6 into 4/7 for her WWE Raw Women's Championship defence against Sasha Banks. A victory for the challenger will now pay out at of 5/4. You would have found Sasha a shorter 5/6 earlier.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Akira Tozawa is another name that has been cut this evening. He went from 8/11 to 4/11. As a result, Neville has jumped out to 17/10 from even money.

The New Day have moved into 2/5 from 4/7 for their Kick Off meeting with The Usos. The challengers to the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship have been pushed up to 7/4 from 5/4.

Finally, Miz and the Miztourage (it looks like a 1980s cartoon series when you type it up) are on the drift. They went from 4/7 to 5/6 because Jason Jordan and the Hardys have been backed from 5/4 into 5/6.

Odds correct as of 5pm.

  1. There's more then this. Corbin has been backed and also Bray Wyatt by the looks of things as Finn is 1/6 but was 1/10

    2. I remember at last SS all early picks achieve victory at the end

But at last Ppv there was a lot of shifts before a show

    3. It's a totally different game nowadays, imo.

    4. Most of this year it was Thursday night / Friday morning picks that win but recently it's changed. It seems Saturday has an important role recently but can't be for certain. It's hard to figure out who's winning until the main show starts now (but even then anything can happen... Cough cough AJ/Kevin).

I would have said these picks are likely smart money but then they had to go and bet on Bray Wyatt and there's just no way Bray is winning again especially against Balor in his Demon form.
