The Miz Didn't Conquer Reigns On Last Night's Raw

On last night's episode of WWE Raw, Roman Reigns scored a disqualification decision over Intercontinental Champion, The Miz. This result means that the Roman Reigns conqueror betting market that I wrote about yesterday is still in play.

In the aforementioned post, I noted that one of two Roman Reigns conqueror markets had the potential to be graded as a winner because the IC Title bout was announced over twenty-four hours ahead of it taking place.

Per the terms of the bet, any singles match involving Roman Reigns - on WWE programming - would be eligible for grading. I thought there was a glimmer of a chance that the title bout would end with Reigns taking a pinfall loss to Miz following interference by The Miztourage to set up what ever was planned for a Shield reunion.

Alas, I was incorrect. There was interference, albeit by Cesaro and Sheamus, but the result went the other way.

Based on how the story is going, it looks like The Miztourage won't be tagging with their leader at WWE Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2017 either. That role appears to be going to the former WWE Raw Tag Team Champions who are in the midst of a feud with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.

For those interested, I've copied an image of the most recent Roman Reigns conqueror odds. I'll publish an update when Kambi has it back on site.

  1. It will be cool, if "The Shield" vs "The Miz and Cesaro/Sheamus" with IC title and Tag team titles all in a line.. and ofcourse in TLC match)

    that would be epic
