Abraham Jones left this today:
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that The Miz .vs. Braun Strowman for the Intercontinental Championship is set for WrestleMania.
If this is true, who do you think Finn Balor will face at WrestleMania? I originally thought it could be Miz .vs. Balor.
What do you think about Balor's plans for Mania?
My response:
I'd like to get this weekend out of the way before I start thinking more about Finn Balor's Mania.
The only thing I have thought of - in regards to Balor - is what I've written in the Bookie .vs. Blogger posts about Balor jumping to Smackdown following a Rumble win. Whether it happens is another thing entirely.
I was certain that Strowman would face Triple H at Mania because of the angle they shot at the Survivor Series, so was surprised when I read the article this morning.
He also said Bryan is not cleared and he confidently said Roman isn't winning Royal Rumble
ReplyDeleteNow, it has to be either Ziggler or balor. These are only 2 guys who don't have any proper Storylines for now
I don't think the line 'Reigns could win the Rumble, although the reaction in Philadelphia would almost surely be very negative if he does' confidently disregards Roman's chances of winning.
DeleteI mean it makes sense to not to have him win Royal Rumble since Brock isn't gonna defend his title inside the chamber
DeleteTo be fair, we don't know if Lesnar is or isn't defending at EC at this point.
DeleteRemember WWE knew there would be bad reactions in the past but still did it anyway. I refuse to believe reigns doesn't have a good chance this Sunday purely because he is pushed and pushed and pushed and just lost his title.
DeleteYep, and what seems to also be overlooked is they booked him to win the WWE Championship in the very same building nearly a year after the Rumble reaction.
DeleteIf they go with what I want them to do, then having reigns win here and getting alllll the heat might not be a bad idea.
DeleteWhat I want to happen is, at Wrestlemania, Heyman betrays Lesnar and walks out with Reigns.
Reigns becomes heel and Heyman does all his talking.
"Lesnar is no longer the next big thing, Roman Reigns is the next big thing".
But sadly I don't think they will turn him heel.
He could wrestle but as of right now, he's still not advertised for Elimination chamber
ReplyDeleteI got a feeling that Balor has more chances now to win Royal Rumble.
But like your no 1 pick, I do think it will be ziggler
I could see a New Day v Balor Club interpromotional match at Mania
DeleteJordan you are forgetting about Elimination chamber. There's no way Brock is gonna participate inside the chamber. So, logically Roman has no other chance but to win no 1 Contender's match inside elimination chamber
ReplyDeleteBalor doesn't have any storyline on Raw. He and ziggler the only guys who have great chances to win Royal Rumble. They can give Nakamura but I ain't sure about it
Why do you think there is no way? He could easily be in a title match inside the Chamber if the decision is made for him to do so.
DeleteIt would actually make sense for Lesnar to defend the title inside the Chamber as it would allow him to F5 more people ahead of Mania to set up the spot where Reigns kicks out of a pin following an F5.
He's not advertised yet though. You might be right but it's Brock lesnar. Lesnar inside the chamber is highly unlikely IMO.
DeleteI wouldn't say it's unlikely. He could be the last person out of the chamber to reduce how long he's Wrestling for, run in and German Suplex everyone.
DeleteDon't get me wrong. I'd rather reigns win the chamber for a number 1 spot aswell but I can't shake this eery feeling he's gonna win the rumble.
