Stephanie McMahon is creeping up betting markets where people can bet on the outright winner of the first-ever women's Royal Rumble.
In my opinion, it seems that punters have taken the news that the Chief Brand Officer of WWE will be on commentary during Sunday's battle royal to mean that she'll somehow end up in the match and ultimately win it.
Ahead of Wednesday evening's announcement, McMahon was 25/1 to win the match with William Hill. Then, by the following afternoon, her price had been cut to 10s.
She is now the third-favourite at 7/1.
The same can be stated of Paddy Power's market where she has moved in from 20/1 to 6/1 since Wednesday.
Even though I doubt she'll win it, it's interesting to see how the bettors are reacting.
