Asuka Conqueror Update For February 11th

Over the past few months, I have been paying close attention to the Kambi oddsmakers' market where customers could bet on both the timeframe when Asuka loses her next match and the wrestler who gets the decision over her.

The two specials were republished yesterday afternoon, so I thought I would post an update pointing out where some adjustments have been made since I last looked through them in January.

In the market where people can have a punt on the person who gets a decision over - or rather 'Conquers' -  the Empress of Tomorrow, the 'No Defeat Til After End Of Mania 34 Or Later' option has been cut from 1/4 into 1/10.

This isn't surprising. Asuka is currently on an undefeated streak and - if current plans don't change - will move over to Smackdown to challenge Charlotte Flair for the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship at WrestleMania 34.

If Asuka manages to get past Mania, then the favourite in both markets - no loss until after WrestleMania - will win out.

I believe she will remain undefeated for some time. However, in storyline, there is a hurdle Asuka must overcome before April 8th.

The Royal Rumble winner will meet Nia Jax in a match on the Elimination Chamber 2018 card in a fortnight from tonight. If Jax is successful, she'll be added to the Raw Women's Championship match at WrestleMania. Because of this, the oddsmakers have halved Jax's odds of being Asuka's conqueror from 8/1.

They have also snipped Asuka to lose 'Before WrestleMania' from 5/1 into 9/2. Anyone looking to back Jax to win at Elimination Chamber (I'm not one of them) should consider looking to take the 9/2 here as it's slightly better than taking Jax at 4s.

The reports have suggested that Jax will find a way into the Raw Women's Championship match although they appear to point to it being a singles bout against the current titleholder, Alexa Bliss, and not in a triple threat including Asuka.
