MITB Cash-In Markets Republished Ahead Of WrestleMania 34

With many fans predicting that Carmella could cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase tomorrow night at WrestleMania 34, the oddsmakers from Kambi have republished a trio of MITB cash-in specials.

I've been following these specials since they were first installed last summer. The markets, along with their prices, are:

Show Of Briefcase Cash-in
This is a special where customers can bet on the show where Carmella's contract to challenge for the Women's Championship is executed. There are two options available - 'Raw/Smackdown' or 'PPV/WWE Network Special (or any other show)'. The latter is 1/6 while a cash-in on an episode of Raw or Smackdown will pay out at odds of 13/4.

Briefcase Cash-in To Be Successful
This is a 'Yes' or 'No' proposition market depending on the result of the cash-in.
As of the time of writing, 'Yes' is even money. An unsuccessful cash-in is favoured at 7/10. When the market was last available, customers could have backed the 'No' at 10/1.
I still believe that the first-ever women's Money in the Bank cash-in has to be a success. I also believe that Asuka's undefeated streak should progress beyond tomorrow night and that's why I have a strong feeling that Carmella either causes a disqualification win for Asuka before cashing in or will end up doing so against the Raw Women's Champion. As I've noted in numerous posts, WWE has backed itself into a corner here and they might have to go with the Raw cash-in if Asuka becomes champion tomorrow night.

Date of Briefcase Cash-in
Tomorrow is quite a big day for this market. It first opened in June with six timeframes to choose from. With time passing by, there are now only two options remaining -  'WrestleMania 34' or 'On 1st Day After WrestleMania 34 Or Later'. Both are 17/20 each as of the time of writing. At the start, the Mania option was 10/1, but also spent time at 15/1 along the way.

  1. Each year, for the past few years atleast, WWE try and add a 'shock/surprise' factor during Wrestlemania, or atleast a key moment to remember that Wrestlemania for.

Wrestlemania 30 - Lesnar beat Taker.

Wrestlemania 31 - Seth cashed in and took the title from Lesnar.

Wrestlemania 32 - Shane jumped off the Hell in a Cell and put himself through the announcers table.

Wrestlemania 33 - Cena proposed to Nikki Bella.

With this, I am currently on the idea that WWE will allow Carmella to take the title and beat Asuka's streak. Is it a bad decision? Possibly. Is it a major shock? Yep. Is it a moment people will remember this Wrestlemania for? Definitely.

It also puts over the women's MitB contract like crazy.

    1. Good point, but why have Carmella come out on the Smackdown before Mania and have the announcers speculate that she could involve herself in FLair/Asuka?
If the shock is happening in regards to a cash-in, they're going to have her do it in the Raw match because the company has already tipped that it could happen in the Smackdown one.

    2. Yeah, for sure, but I think they are trying to make people think Carmella is going to interject and make it a triple threat match (like what Seth did), but the bigger shock would be to cash in on Asuka as soon as she wins (Charlotte is the 'heel' here, she could attack her after etc) , or , like you've said, cash in on the Raw champion - as this would also be a surprise too.

    3. I just don't think WWE have allowed Carmella to hold onto that briefcase for so long, just for a standard cash in to happen.

And I 100% agree that a failed cash-in, after all this time, would be completely silly too.

I think they've had something big planned for some time now, and we may end up seeing it on Sunday night.
