Just like with WrestleMania, the bookies have priced up three kinds of markets. The first are Over/Under specials on most of the matches, the second is a special where customers can place a bet on 'The Exact Star of the Highest Match on the Card' and finally a an outright where you can have a punt on the match that receives the most stars in Meltzer's review of the event.
Over/Unders
The oddsmakers have set the following lines to the matches on the card:
Royal Rumble Match - 3 Stars
AJ Styles .vs. Shinsuke Nakamura - 3.75 Stars
Brock Lesnar .vs. Roman Reigns - 3.25 Stars
Jeff Hardy .vs. Jinder Mahal - 2.5 Stars
The Undertaker vs. Rusev - 2 Stars
John Cena .vs. Triple H - 3 Stars
Intercontinental Championship Match - 3.5 Stars
I plan to write a bit more about these markets tomorrow morning.
There aren't any lines for the Cruiserweight Championship, Raw Tag Team Championhip and Smackdown Tag Team Championship matches as of the time of writing.
Exact Star Rating Of The Highest Rated Match On The Card
Below is an image of the market where customers can place wagers on the exact star rating that the match of the night receives from Dave Meltzer when he reviews the event in next week's issue of the Observer.
As you can see, '3.75 Stars' is the favourite. This is what the oddsmaker has set as the over/under for the WWE Championship match. Three-and-three-quarter stars is exactly what the pair were given for their match at WrestleMania.
Highest Rated Match On The Card
It shouldn't be a surprise to see that the WWE Championship match has been installed as a favourite to win the market where customers can bet on what they think will be Meltzer's match of the night.
It's 3/10. Then, in joint-second with odds of 7/4 are the Universal and Intercontinental Championships.
All of these markets will be settled as soon as the oddsmaker reads the review inside next week's issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
