The Universal Championship market has been taken off the board. It's safe to presume that this is due to the apparent uncertainty over Brock Lesnar's participation at the August 19th event.
There are markets for the two women's titles.
The Smackdown Women's Championship market lists Asuka as a 1/4 favourite to be in possession of the title at the close of SummerSlam.
She is the fave because, this Sunday, she'll challenge for the title against Carmella.
I last wrote about this market nearly a week ago. Since then, Carmella (6/4 to 5/4) and Becky Lynch (5/2 to 2/1) have been the selections that have dipped.. Asuka was 11/50 and has drifted out.
Whoever bet on Becky Lynch has - in my opinion - made an astute wager as, one thing I have noticed on WWE TV lately, is the company pointing out how much of a run the first-ever Smackdown Women's Championship has been on. I think there's a purpose behind this and I believe she will be the challenger going into SummerSlam.
The Raw Women's Championship market has sided with Nia Jax since last week.
Jax was 5/2 last week, but is now at 2/1. The other two selections - Ronda Rousey (4/9 to 1/2) and Alexa Bliss (7/4 to 2/1) have drifted out.
If people are betting on Nia Jax to be the champ after SummerSlam, then the logical assumption to make is that they believe she's winning the Extreme Rules match against Alexa Bliss on Sunday. Doing so would allow Ronda Rousey .vs. Alexa Bliss to be at the event without the title on the line.
Or.. another thing the punter may have thought up is a triple threat between the three individuals stemming from whatever happens at Extreme Rules.
I think at Summerslam we will see a 4 Way with Carmella, Becky, Charlotte & Asuka. No way Charlotte is not at the Card.
