WrestleMania 35 Main Event Odds Update For August 3rd

With there being reports suggesting that Dwayne Johnson is looking to wrestle once again, the oddsmakers from Kambi have asdjusted the price for one of the selections in their market where customers can place a bet on what the main event of the night will be at next year's WrestleMania.

WrestleMania 35 Main Event Odds For August 3rd

The option to place a bet on any match involving The Rock - which was previously 6/1 - is now down to 5/2.

In my opinion, if The Rock is going to return - and it main events WrestleMania 35 - the only two opponents that would fit are Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. The former is because Johnson and Lesnar had wanted to do a rematch from SummerSlam 2002 years ago and the latter makes sense as it'll be an opportunity for Reigns to get the rub, and another endorsement, from Johnson.

It'll also allow for Reigns to extend his consecutive Mania main events to five.

The cut for a Rock match has moved the selection into second place on the list. A match between Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey remains a favourite, but its odds have increased slightly moving from 3/5 into 3/4.

Other selections that have drifted out are:

Daniel Bryan .vs. Roman Reigns 9/4 to 5/2
Any Match Featuring The Undertaker 4/1 to 5/1
Braun Strowman .vs. Brock Lesnar from 4/1 to 5/1

On the topic of Samoan wrestlers - there is one match that I am keen to see the price of if Samoa Joe ends up as WWE Champion and is still holding the strap during Mania season...
