Rousey .vs. Fox Qualifies For Kambi Conqueror Betting

Tonight's match, which will see Ronda Rousey take on Alicia Fox in her Raw debut, qualifies for Kambi's betting markets where customers can place wagers on the date of Rousey's first loss and the person who is her 'conqueror'.

Not that it matters tonight. It's not like Fox has any chance of going over.

The match does, however, allow me to once again point out what qualifies and what doesn't when it comes to these Conqueror markets. Here are the rules:

Ronda Rousey Conqueror Betting Rules

The highlighted bit is the part that's important here as it states that the bets are valid 'only for singles matches broadcast live on any WWE programming and which have been advertised at least 24 hours before the start of the event'.

Rousey versus Fox was announced on last week's edition of Raw thus passing the twenty-four hour rule. An example of the twenty-four rule not being eligible is if something like The Miz versus Daniel Bryan is first advertised during tonight's Raw for tomorrow night's Smackdown and - because both shows begin at 1AM BST - the rule means that any bets on Miz being Daniel Bryan's conqueror don't count for this particular meeting. In the unlikely chance of it happening tomorrow night, that is.

Back to the unlikely chance that this post is all about.

The bookies have installed Alicia Fox into the market where customers can place wagers on Rousey's conqueror. She was inserted at 6/1 when the market was republished last Wednesday. Her price remains at this number as of this morning.

With the match announced, Kambi cut Rousey's loss occurring 'Between Day After Money in the Bank, But Before SummerSlam 2018' from 15/1 to 6s to coincide with Fox being installed at this number.

The current odds, and a comparison with their previous numbers, can be viewed below.
