A Bet I've Placed On The Mysterio .vs. Orton Match At Crown Jewel

In the previous post, I mentioned that the Kambi oddsmakers have published a plethora of new match and specials markets not only for Crown Jewel, but also for next week's episode of WWE Mixed Match Challenge but also for the Survivor Series.

Before I get back to doing some other things that I'm trying to get out of the way before I can cover Crown Jewel thoroughly tomorrow, I thought I'd share a bet that I placed on the Rey Mysterio versus Randy Orton match.

As is usually the case with Kambi's PPV coverage, the bookies have installed a 'Method of Decision' market where clients can punt on how the winning fall is decided. At the time of writing, they propositions are 'Pinfall or Submission' at 11/50 or 'Any Other Method' at 11/4.

When talking about the matches with a friend of mine the other day, we both kind of arrived to the conclusion that this match could end up being a draw to allow The Miz to fluke his way into the final.

There have been numerous byes in WWE tournaments in the past. However, our discussion came before Shane McMahon announced that he would fire the Smackdown finalist if he were to lose against whoever qualifies from the Raw side of the tourney.

I guess it could still play into Miz being a fluke if he manages to barely get through against Jeff Hardy and then the commentators could go on about how he was lucky to get into the last match. One thing working against this idea, is that - in past tournaments when a wrestler earns a bye - the commentators point out how fresh they are when up against the other person who has had to wrestle an extra match.

To cut this long theory short, I took the 11/4 on 'Any Other Method'. I could even fluke it Mysterio wins by DQ or something..
