In the men's match, I've backed the person from number 30 to win the match (8/1). Yes, I'm going to contradict what I've been writing for weeks by having Seth Rollins as my pick to win the battle royal. However, one thing that I thought of when I found out that Braun Strowman wasn't getting his title shot against Brock Lesnar is for him to beat up R-Truth and take the number thirty spot and go on to win the battle royal.
The women's match is kind of similar in that I had envisioned Becky Lynch taking Carmella's number thirty entry and going on to win the match. This was 10/1.
I'd be luck if one of those scenarios plays out, let alone two hence the small wager.
The final bet I placed on these markets is something I had written about late last year - Charlotte Flair to win the women's Royal Rumble from number three. This selection was 20/1 when I backed it.
Ric Flair won the 1992 Royal Rumble after drawing that number, so it's something that I would not be surprised see if Charlotte is going on to win on Sunday.
