Rumble Odds Notes (Updated Hourly)

Here are some notes about the WWE Royal Rumble betting markets from 5Dimes. This post will be updated for the next few hours. Times in GMT. To save space, I won't bother making notes about markets that are still showing the same pricing as an hour or so previously.

Cruiserweight Championship
8PM: Buddy Murphy remains a -230 favourite to retain. He's followed by Hideo Itami at +400, Kalisto at +600 and Akira Tozawa at +900. The Field versus Murphy is +170.

Rusev .vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
8PM: Rusev moved in from -400 to -530 before 7PM. As a result, Shinsuke Nakamura moved out to +350 from +280.

Brock Lesnar .vs. Finn Balor
8PM: Another change that happened before 7PM saw Lesnar drop to -380 from -350. Finn Balor rose to +260 from +250.

9PM: Finn Balor has dropped into +230 with Lesnar now up to -310 favourite.

10PM: Finn Balor is now down to +180 while Lesnar is -260.

Daniel Bryan .vs. AJ Styles
8PM: Daniel Bryan's price moved into -265 from -215 sometime before 8PM. AJ Styles has drifted to +185 from +165.

Asuka .vs. Becky Lynch
8PM: Asuka remains a -245 favourite over Becky Lynch (+175).

9PM: Becky Lynch is now down to +150. Asuka up to -190. This match is apparently set to be the first on the main show. Are we really going to get Becky winning the men's Rumble in the main event??

10PM: Becky now down to +150. Asuka up to -190.

Ronda Rousey .vs. Sasha Banks
8PM: Another stationary market. Rousey is -900 to Banks' +500.

The Bar .vs. The Miz and Shane McMahon
8PM: Yet another stalled market. The Bar are +200 underdogs to the -280 for Miz and Shane McMahon.

11PM: The Bar has dropped to +170. Their opponents are up from -280 into -230.

Men's Royal Rumble Notes
8PM: Seth Rollins is still a -230 favourite to win the men's Rumble. However, a couple of names have shortened. One is Drew McIntyre (+667 to +600) and the other is Rey Mysterio (+11,000 to +7,500).

9PM: Rollins is now at -260. Roman Reigns has been added at +1,000.

10PM: Brock Lesnar has dropped from +5,000 to +4,000.

11PM: Seth Rollins has fallen to -305, Roman Reigns down to +750, The Rock from +2,000 to +1,500

Women's Royal Rumble Notes
8PM: The two names I am focused on are Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. The Field .vs. Flair has dropped from +100 into -110 and The Field against Lynch has moved in from -155 to -170. Charlotte is now -130 (was -140 an hour ago) and Becky is +130 (up from +115).

9PM: Charlotte price has moved in to -155, Becky has drifted out to +135

11PM: Becky Lynch is now down to +110 - I cannot shake off the feeling that she's going to win the men's Royal Rumble in the main event.

  2. That means Charlotte is the favorite, right?

    1. As of this moment, yes. When you asked your question (referring to the 8PM Update), people were betting against her winning as they were taking The Field so her odds drifted out slightly, but - to answer your question - yes, she's favourite.

  3. "Are we really going to get Becky winning the men's Rumble in the main event??"

    Just imagine...

  4. I hope that Charlotte & Becky are going to be joint-winners and Seth wins the Men's Rumble. Would be the best thing in my opinion

  6. What happens to bets if there are duel winners? Dead heat rules?

    1. You'll need to check with whichever book you've bet with, but the majority have dead heat rules.

  7. I'm with you on the Becky winning the Men's Rumble thing, started off as a joke but the more I think about it the more it seems plausible...the "WrestleVotes" twitter account (not sure how reliable they are) posted about a big surprise the other day that "1. If it happens, everyone should have a genuine reaction to the moment & 2. WWE doesn’t even know if it’s going to work out yet." that to me sounds like a never been done before surprise such as a woman winning the men's Rumble...

    1. Yeah, I wrote about the WrestleVotes thing yesterday and just posted an update.

Think this is how it goes just by how the card is set up.

    2. Yeah and with it being a Rumble there's more ways to get around the whole Men vs. Women thing, have her take an accidental bump and roll out the ring until it's time to throw out the last person (someone like a Jinder Mahal or Baron Corbin)
