Mania 35 Match Of The Night Betting Update For March 28th

In the most recent post, I had a look over the adjustments that have been made to some of Kambi's Wrestling Observer Newsletter star ratings prop markets. I now intend to point out the differences to the 'Highest Rated Match of the Night' special that's also available from the sportsbooks with Kambi pricing.

As with the prop specials, Kambi republished its 'Highest Rated' market yesterday. When I last wrote about the selections a week ago, the bookie had the 'Raw Women's Championship' and 'WWE Championship' as joint 9/4 favourites to get the most stars in Dave Meltzer's review of the event.

In the week that has followed, the Raw Women's Championship match has been confirmed as being the main event of the evening and - on top of that - Charlotte Flair is now the WWE Smackdown Women's Champion. This week's issue of the Observer reports that Flair's title will also be on the line in the match and the rules of which will become clear on Monday's edition of Raw.

The 'Raw Women's Championship' selection is now the sole favourite. It's 2/1. The WWE Championship match - which has finally been confirmed as Daniel Bryan .vs. Kofi Kingston - is still at last week's price.

There have been other price cuts since last week.

The option to bet on 'Any Male Tag Match' has been moved to 17/2 from 10/1, Triple H .vs. Batista (now with an added stipulation that Triple H has to retire if he were to lose) is now down to 10/1 from 12s, and Shane McMahon .vs. The Miz - which has now been set as a falls count anywhere match - is 15/1 from 20/1.

With the selections moving in, Kambi has increased the Cruiserweight Championship bout (4/1 to 5/1), US Championship (4/1 to 5/1) and the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal (50/1 to 66/1).

'Any Women's Match Except The Raw Women's Championship' has been removed. It was 66/1 last week. I surmise this is because the Smackdown Women's Championship has technically become the current favourite following Charlotte Flair's win now that it's likely going to be on the line in the same match as the Raw Women's Championship.

I guess the 'Any Unlisted Match' will now cover the Women's Tag Team Championship, although - before this week - it would be covered by the 'Any Women Match Except Raw Women's Championship'.

With all that said, looking at what the women's tag match is up against on the card, I doubt there's going to be any sort of post-Mania betting controversy.
