In the most recent post, I wrote about a WrestleMania 35 RequestABet special that I asked for and placed a wager on. It wasn't the first bet I placed this morning.
After seeing Samoa Joe crowned new WWE US Champion on Smackdown, the first thing that I thought of was to have a punt on Samoa Joe versus John Cena being a scheduled match at WrestleMania.
The selection was 12/1 when I took the gamble hours ago. It is now down to 8s.
After placing the wager, another special was recommended to me on the Sky Bet website. It was offering 25/1 on the following:
John Cena, Hardy Boyz, Kofi Kingston and Lacey Evans all to compete in title matches at WrestleMania 35
I thought that was also worth a punt considering I had already bet on Cena to face the current US Champion, Kofi Kingston will likely be in the WWE Championship match, Lacey Evans is rumoured to have a big push and there have been rumours of her facing Asuka on April 7th and, well, the only one that I am not confident on - as of right now - is the Hardys being in a title match. With that said, the team being put back together in time for WrestleMania season is enough for me to entertain an idea of Matt and Jeff competing for the tag straps.
I placed the two bets earlier this morning. I have since listened to this morning's episode of Wrestling Observer Radio. In the show - Dave Meltzer said that, after watching Smackdown, he felt there was a chance that Joe versus Cena is going to happen at Mania. The newsletter editor stressed that it was a guess on his part, so it isn't something that he has been told.
