Sky Bet has released its seventh edition of a WWE specials market in which customers can place wagers on the 'Next Title to Change Hands'.
The market has been refreshed following Ricochet's United States Championship victory against Samoa Joe at Stomping Grounds.
The favourite - as of the time of writing - is the Women's Tag Team Championship at 2/1. As I've written in previous 'Next Title' posts, The IIconics have a potential feud with The Kabuki Warriors on the horizon and I believe it's fair to see the women's tag titles a favourite to be the next to change owners.
With that said, The Kabuki Warriors will meet The IIconics in a non-title match during a live show in Tokyo this week. Should the local team win - and I think it's a safe bet that they do - they'll earn a title shot against Billie Kay and Peyton Royce at another time.
Winning a match to get the title shot does not make me completely confident that Asuka and Kairi Sane will be victorious in their first challenge, but we'll see.
Both the 'Universal Championship' and 'WWE Championship' are in joint-second at 11/2 each. This also makes sense considering Brock Lesnar is walking around with the Money in the Bank briefcase and he could cash in on either titleholder.
An image of the entire market can be viewed below.
So what happend with your Lacey and Joe wins? ;-)
ReplyDeleteHere's a lesson for you.
DeleteNot that it bothers me, because it's gambling and you win some and lose some, but it's not a nice look for you to come along shortly after someone has lost a bet to rub salt in the wounds.
Just saying.
You think AJ is going to be the next US champion. I don't see Joe regaining the title
ReplyDeleteIt might lead to AJ vs Mysterio
I haven't watched all of Raw yet and didn't want to publish your comment until after there was a 'Champion After AJ' market but now that there is one up, I don't think AJ will be the next US Champ (I haven't watched all of Raw yet, but I guess AJ vs Ricochet is the direction after Sunday and the plug for Raw).
DeleteRey is 20/1 and he is who I would have guessed had I answered this question yesterday.
BTW, I am going by the report that Mysterio's injury isn't as bad as initially thought. The fact that they've moved the US Title from Joe to Ricochet could be a sign that the report MIGHT be wrong.
DeleteStill, Ricochet should have a bit of a run with the title.
I meant 'Champion After Ricochet' market!
