Kambi's betting market in which customers can place bets on the match they believe will receive the most stars in Dave Meltzer's coverage of this year's G1 Climax tournament has been republished with a lot of adjustments made to it.
At the top of the market are four joint-favourites at 7/2. These selections are:
- Any match featuring KENTA (Previous price 17/1)
- Kazuchika Okada .vs. Kota Ibushi (Previous price 7/2)
- Kazuchika Okada .vs. Tetsuya Naito (Previous price 25/1)
- Kota Ibushi .vs. Tetsuya Naito (Previous price 10/1)
A selection which stands out is the one in joint-second - Okada .vs. Ospreay. The pair had their meeting over the weekend and I think it will be the new match to beat. Its price has stalled at 5/1.
I should also note that 'Any Jon Moxley Match' has been cut from 17/1 into 17/2. I'd like to guess that this is due to how good Moxley's match against Tomohiro Ishii was on Friday.
In my opinion, Okada/Ospreay was the better of the two, but I really enjoyed Moxley/Ishii.
I've redone the table below showing all the current prices along with the adjustments that have been made. I've colour-coded the matches for those who aren't following closely.
The two selections in green will cover any of KENTA or Moxley's matches. This would include the final should either guy make it to August 12th.
The pinkish colour is for matches that have either happened or are scheduled for future A Block rounds.
The blue coloured market is for the B Block contest between Tetsuya Naito and Jay White.
The greyed matches can only happen in the final.
