Abraham Jones left this in a post earlier:
Hey David,
Do you think Seth Rollins has a chance to beat Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam?
I know an injured guy shouldn't beat a healthy Brock Lesnar, but I have a feeling that Seth might win after these assaults from Brock.
Otherwise, why would they have Brock destroy Seth every week and still make him lose at SummerSlam?
I am still picking Brock to retain, but WWE are telling a story that Seth has no chance to beat Brock. I mean when these stories happen, babyfaces generally come out on top. But, then again thos stories might not apply to a guy like Brock.
My response:
When I watched their segment on last night's Raw, I thought to myself 'Seth is winning' because he has guaranteed that he will beat Lesnar.
But.. he didn't guarantee he'll win the title, so maybe you're right about Lesnar retaining.
Like you stated - the way it has played out makes you think it's going to be Rollins.
Realistically, healthy Brock shouldn't lose to a badly injured guy but wouldn't be surprised if Rollins wins it
ReplyDeleteMaybe this is a Build Up to a Seth Rollins Heel Turn after he fails.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that is a good shout.
DeleteThey already turned AJ heel. If they also turn Rollins heel then Raw needs a strong top babyface
DeleteRollins isn't getting a reaction of a strong top babyface. I could hear crickets last night!
DeleteTrue but who do you think will take his place as top face on Raw if he and AJ are heels
DeleteStrowman first comes to mind but WWE kinda had inconsistent booking with him
Ricochet can be an option but his promo skulls are poor and doesn't have a proper character yet
It's Roman Reigns until they decide to be strict about the brand split.
DeleteAnd yes, I know there are reports about them sticking to the split rosters once Smackdown moves to FOX, but I'll believe that when I see it.
I'm not saying I disbelieve the reports above, just saying I doubt it will end up happening.
DeleteIf Roman is on Raw then he's definitely the top face
