I've Bet On The Strowman/Fury Finish
The oddsmakers from Sky Bet have published some specials for next week's WWE Crown Jewel 2019 match between Braun Strowman and Tyson Fury.
Customers can now place wagers on the 'Length of Match', the 'First Superstar to Obtain a 2 Count' as well as the 'Method of Victory'.
It's the 'Method of Victory' market that has intrigued me the most.
The thing is, considering how well he has been protected in the past, I cannot see WWE allowing Braun Strowman to lose by pinfall (1/2), submission (33/1) or even by what should be the obvious one considering he's up against a boxer - 'KO/Countout' (5/1) although I would not be surprised if they do have Fury win by 'Countout'.
I cannot see Tyson Fury losing in any way. Therefore, if I pass on the 'Tyson Fury to win by KO/Countout' option, I'm left with two options. One I like, the other I am not completely sold on for a reason I will get to:
Draw/No Contest 3/1
Tyson Fury to win by Disqualification 10/1
The 'Draw/No Contest' is the most appealing of the two because it would save both men from losing the match and would set up the sports centre moment of them both hoisting each other's arms post-match.
The reason why I wrote than I'm not completely sold on the idea of Fury winning by DQ is because I have a feeling the Brock Lesnar versus Cain Velasquez match could finish with that decision and two disqualifications for both of the most hyped matches on the card is something I believe the company would shy away from.
I'm confident enough to state that there is no way Strowman will leave this match with his legs cut out from under him by a WWE outsider. That's not how the business works.
