MyBookie's NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 14 Markets

I noticed that MyBookie had published betting markets for next week's NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 14 event when I was browsing the company's website this afternoon.

The site has five markets. Four for night one and one for the night two.

They have a market for the Texas Death Match for the IWGP US Championship. Current champ, Lance Archer, is a +110 dog while the previous titleholder - Jon Moxley, who was forced to relinquish his title a few months ago due to travel issues, is a -140 fave.

This was the first market I have seen for the US Title match.

The IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship will be contested on January 4th when Will Ospreay defends his strap against Hiromu Takahashi.

As of today, the challenger is a -300 fave. A decision for Ospreay will pay out at odds of +220.

The main part of January's event will see both the IWGP Intercontinental Championship and IWGP Heavyweight Championship defended on night one and then - the following evening - the two titleholders will clash to crown a double champion.

Jay White, who currently holds the Intercontinental Championship, is +300 to Tetsuya Naito's -400. While - in the market for the IWGP Heavyweight strap - Kazuchika Okada is +100 to successfully retain while this year's G1 Climax winner, Kota Ibushi, is -130.

Another bout scheduled for the second evening of the event will see Chris Jericho and Hiroshi Tanahashi wrestle.

The bookmakers list Tanahashi as a -130 fave while Jericho is +100.

Prices correct as of 12PM GMT and at the time of posting. The latest odds can be found on MyBookie's Wrestling Page.

This will likely be the final post before tomorrow, so I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas. I don't know when I'll return after the holidays, but I'll definitely be back long before January 4th.
