Charlotte Flair has been crowned winner of the 2020 Women's Royal Rumble match.
As I noted across the last few hours, Flair's odds to win the battle royal began to decline over here in Europe forcing oddsmakers to make the eventual winner a closing favourite.
That's one story.
Another one concerns offshore betting.
I noticed Flair's price was on the descent at 5Dimes on the morning of January 14th as the price went down from +1,700 to +1,300. Later that evening, Flair was down to +1,100.
Then - the following morning - I noted that Flair was being offered at a shorter +950.
Flair's price plummeted to +200 by the morning of January 19th. She remained at these odds until January 23rd when 5Dimes moved the eventual winner up to +700.
The bets came back in by 10PM on the 24th because Flair was then backed into +300 from the aforementioned +700.
The rest is covered in THIS POST from this morning.
Going by notes and with hindsight, I'd hazard a guess that it was known that Flair was going to win the match as far back as January 14th. However, the fall from +950 to +200 might have been the pointer.
