G1 Climax 30 Betting: Night 10

B Block returns for its next round of G1 Climax 30 matches today, but - before I get to the match winner odds for the bouts on today's card - I have to update you on the latest A Block and Outright Winner prices.

A Block Winner
Following yesterday's round of matches, the oddsmakers from Kambi have placed Kota Ibushi as a favourite to win the A Block. This is likely due to his win over Will Ospreay yesterday as well as previous favourite - Jay White - falling to Jeff Cobb.

As you can see above, Ibushi is now at 33/20 from 4/1. White is now in joint-second having moved from EVS to 9/4 while Will Ospreay has lowered from 3/1.

Jeff Cobb has shortened from 80/1 into 33s.

Outright Winner
Ibushi is now perched at the top of the outright winner market. His price is now down into 9/4 from 11/2.

Two other selections have reduced prices, in contrast to the most recent adjustment. Will Ospreay is now at 7/2 from 4/1 and Kazuchika Okada is now at 4s from 11/2.

Now, onto today's card.

G1 Climax 30: Night 10

Hirooki Goto (1-3) .vs. Toru Yano (3-1)
The Hirooki Goto versus Toru Yano market was first published on Friday with Goto at 3/5 and Yano at 6/5.

By the following morning, Goto's price had moved into 1/2 and Yano was out to 7/5.

Match Winner: Hirooki Goto

SANADA (1-3) .vs. Zack Sabre Jr. (2-2)
It was all SANADA in the market for the second tournament match of today.

The favourite was at 1/3 on Friday. He was down into 2/7 a day later and was then at 1/5 on Sunday. When I visited the website this morning, his odds had lowered once again. This time he was at 2/13 and remained at that price until the market closed.

As a result, Zack Sabre Junior went from 2/1 all the way to 7/2.

Match Winner: SANADA

Juice Robinson (3-1) .vs. EVIL (2-2)
The market for Juice Robinson versus EVIL first went up on Friday with EVIL a 1/3 favourite over the 2/1 for Juice Robinson.

Both selections were still at those respective prices right up until a few minutes before the bell.

Match Winner: EVIL

Yoshi-Hashi (1-3) .vs. Tetsuya Naito (3-1)
The Yoshi-Hashi versus Tetsuya Naito market was first published on September 13th with the former a 3/1 outsider.

Naito's price fell from 1/5 into 1/8 by September 25th but - on Friday - he moved back up to 1/5 with Yoshi-Hashi obviously returning to his earliest price.

G1 Climax 30 Betting: Yoshi-Hashi vs Tetsuya Naito

When I checked in this morning, Naito's price was back into 2/13.

Match Winner: Tetsuya Naito

Hiroshi Tanahashi (2-2) .vs. KENTA (2-2)
The market for today's main event, between Hiroshi Tanahashi and KENTA, was another that went live on September 13th.

It started with KENTA a 7/10 favourite and Tanahashi at EVS. However, by September 18th, both selections were at 17/20.

There were flips back and forth as the tournament was finding its feet, but - in the later stages of betting, it is KENTA who has been on the decline.

In fact, a couple of adjustments have been made today while the show was in progress with KENTA falling into 11/25 from 1/2 and then into 7/20.

Match Winner: Hiroshi Tanahashi
