The market, which was published earlier this week, now lists the current titleholder as a 7/10 favourite. Before Smackdown, he was 7/20.
Drew McIntyre - on the other hand - is now at EVENS. This is down from the most recent 19/10.
Before last night, I had a feeling McIntyre could win. However, I thought there was a chance of The Miz cashing in on McIntyre following a post-match RKO from Orton to set up Miz versus Reigns for Survivor Series.
After watching Smackdown, I am not as confident as I was on The Miz cashing in his immediate title shot, but am still leaning on McIntyre to get the W on Monday night even though I have not bet on this match.
And if I am wrong - and it isn't McIntyre/Reigns in a week from tomorrow - I think it's safe to conclude that we're getting this match sometime in the not too distant future.
As you can see, the bookies are also of this opinion as Drew McIntyre's price to succeed Roman Reigns - for the Universal Championship - has once again dipped in the 'After Roman Reigns' special from Kambi.
The former WWE Champion is now a 7/4 second-favourite. His most recent price was 7/2 after moving into 5/1 - from 19/2 - at the start of November.
