With Kofi Kingston replacing The Miz as a participant for this Sunday's Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship, a couple of bookmaking companies have already adjusted their markets by making the changes.
Paddy Power has given Kingston 20/1 odds to win the match.
The new challenger was added to the match following The Miz's decision to pull out. However, to get there, Kofi had to beat Miz in a qualifier which - had the latter won - would have meant John Morrison would get the empty slot.
Kambi has added Kofi Kingston at a higher 50/1.
Sheamus will be the last man entered on Sunday night. He secured this position by winning the gauntlet match on Raw. As a result, his price as a second-favourite to win the match, has declined with both sports firms with Paddy Power moving him into 2/1 from 11/4 while Kambi has cut the Celtic Warrior into 17/10 from 21/10.
WWE Champion - Drew McIntyre, who lost the deciding fall in the gauntlet match, has drifted up from 2/5 to 4/9 in Paddy Power's book, but has lowered from 11/20 into 11/25 in the market from Kambi.
The Miz has been removed from both markets. I don't believe he should have as there is still a slim chance of him cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase during the match.
Or maybe it's wishful thinking on my part because, last week, I gambled on the possibility of Miz winning the match after reading an idea someone posted online which had Miz being eliminated only to add himself back into the match with a cash-in.
That scenario is no longer viable. However, the in-progress cash-in still has a chance. Albeit slim.
