The Young Bucks' successful AEW World Tag Team Championship defence over Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston, at last weekend's AEW Double or Nothing 2021 PPV, was the match of the night in Dave Meltzer's review of the show scoring four-and-three-quarter stars.
Now that the review has been released, the betting agency - Kambi - will settle all of the Observer-themed markets it created for the event.
The tag title match went up against Kenny Omega's AEW World Championship defence against Orange Cassidy and PAC in a head-to-head market in which customers were asked which, of the two contests, would receive the most stars in Dave Meltzer's report.
The three-way was graded a quarter of a star less than the winning selection. As you can see above, Kambi predicted that the 'AEW World Championship' match would receive the most stars because it was a 9/10 favourite over what turned out to be the eventual winner, which was 11/10.
Two other head-to-head markets will also be settled now that the review has been published.
There was only a quarter of a star difference between the two matches in Kambi's third head-to-head which saw Miro's TNT Championship defence against Lance Archer compete against the tag team match which has Darby Allin and Sting team up against Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky.
Just like with the 'AEW Women's Championship' versus 'Adam Page .vs. Brian Cage' head-to-head, the adjustments sided with the eventual losing selections with 'AEW TNT Championship' moving in from 19/20 to 11/20 over the weekend and the 'Same Star Rating' option moving up from 2/1 to 41/20 on Saturday before eventually landing back to 2/1 on the evening of the show.
The wining pick did so with a score of three-and-a-half stars to the three-and-a-quarter for Miro's victory over Archer. It started out at 21/20, but was up to 23/20 a few hours later. It was then increased to 7/4 on the day of the event.
A couple of prop markets were also published for the PPV.
In the first, which asked customers whether at least two matches would receive the most stars in Meltzer's review, the winning selection 'No' will win as a 21/50 favourite. Its opposition - 'Yes' - was 33/20.
Prop number two will also be settled with 'No' as the correct pick. In it, customers were asked whether there would be a margin of victory of at least half-a-star between the highest rated match of the night and the next best.
As we know, the AEW Tag Team Championship match scored four-and-three-quarters while Page .vs. Cage - and also the AEW World Championship match - both scored four-and-a-half apiece meaning that the difference was a quarter of a star.
The eventual winner was a 13/25 favourite over the 13/10 for 'Yes'.
Kambi's popular over/under star ratings markets were also published for most of the matches on the AEW Double or Nothing 2021 card. Below is a table showing the lines, stars and results of those bouts.
