Here are some observations I have made from following the betting markets for tonight's WWE Survivor Series PPV.
The prices are correct up to this morning.
Dual Brand Battle Royal
This the most recent match to be announced for the card. Kambi's market was published yesterday and I came across Sky Bet's this morning.
Omos is the favourite with both firms. He's currently 2/1 with Sky Bet and 3/1 on Kambi. However, with the latter, Omos shares favouritism with AJ Styles who is also at 3/1.
Styles had opened as Kambi's fave with Omos in second. Omos' price has dipped from 7/2 while his tag team partner's has drifted from 5/2.
Of the names in Kambi's market, another which has shortened since yesterday is the one for Sami Zayn. He has slipped into 4/1 from 9/2. I suppose this is due to the fact that there was a backstage segment on Smackdown in which Sonya Deville hyped up Zayn's chance of winning the battle royal. In my opinion, that more or less made me feel that he'll be eliminated in order to add more fuel to his conspiracy gimmick, but we'll see.
Damian Priest .vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
Damian Priest is a favourite to beat Shinsuke Nakamura in the meeting between US and Intercontinental Champions.
When Kambi's market for the match was first installed, the oddsmakers were taking wagers on 'Raw' or 'Smackdown' with the former at 11/25 and the latter at 8/5. Since knowing for sure that it will be Priest and Nakamura as the titleholders, the US Champion's odds have plummeted from 2/5 into 1/14 while Nakamura has moved to 11/2.
BetOnline has also seen interest in Priest. His price has dropped from -200 into -330 between November 17tth and this morning.
RK-Bro .vs. The Usos
There has been a back-and-forth in the betting for the match between both of WWE's tag team champions.
The first two tables below are for the European-based firms - Kambi and Sky Bet. You'll notice that the early adjustments from Kambi sided with the Raw champions. However, the latter changes have gone in favour of The Usos.
Sky Bet - on the other hand - has been shortening the price for The Usos because they opened as the underdogs.
BetOnline's market also opened with The Usos as underdogs. Their odds began to dip after that. However, the most recent adjustment - made overnight - has seen RK-Bro seemingly backed.
Women's 5-on-5 Survivor Series Match Team Raw Women are favourites to win the 5-on-5 match with all of the bookmakers I've been following.
A few weeks ago, the firms didn't expect them to win as it was Smackdown's team which opened as faves.
BetOnline had the current favourites open as +130. The decline began a couple of days later.
As you can see, BetOnline now has Team Raw Women at -150 while their Smackdown rivals have moved from a starting -160 to +110.
Similarly, Kambi had the Raw team at 27/25, but the drop has seen them now priced at 11/25.
Men's 5-on-5 Survivor Series Match The selections for Team Smackdown are favourites to win the men's 5-on-5 match.
With Kambi, Smackdown started off at 5/4 when the market was first installed. By the following morning, the blue team had dipped into EVS and then became favourites a week later when they were moved into 4/6 and Raw was moved to 27/25 from 7/10 after initially being priced 11/20 faves.
BetOnline's market opened, on November 9th, with Smackdown's team -200 favourites over the +150 for Raw's team. By the 11th, Raw had dipped into +140 while Smackdown moved up to -180.
The most recent change saw the selections return to their earliest prices when Smackdown appears to have been fancied back into -200.
Roman Reigns .vs. Big E
Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, is the betting favourite to get a win against the WWE Champion = Big E - when they meet later tonight.
Kambi's market opened on November 3rd with 'Smackdown' at 2/7 while 'Raw' was 9/4. When the match participants were confirmed, and Kambi changed the selections' names to the titleholders, Reigns was 1/8 and Big E was 4/1.
You'll notice that there was a slip into 5/2 for Big E on November 16th, but - from that point - Reigns' price decreased and was moved into 2/13 - from 1/5 - overnight.
BetOnline's market for the match opened with Reigns at -500 to Big E's +300. So far, the selections have remained stationary.
Becky Lynch .vs. Charlotte Flair
BetOnline's market for the clash between the two women's champions of the main WWE roster has also stayed where it opened with Becky Lynch a -400 favourite over Charlotte Flair (+250).
Kambi's market has mainly sided with the favourite apart from yesterday morning when Charlotte Flair was moved from 9/4 into 7/5. As a result, Lynch - who was 2/7 - moved up to 1/2 before lowering into 2/5 last night.
From my visits to Sky Bet's market, I've noticed the price moves siding with Charlotte Flair. Even though not favoured, her price has dipped from 9/4 into 6/4 while her opponent's price as favourite has drifted out to 1/2 from 1/3.
I hope this is of some interest to those checking into the markets for the first time. I hope to publish an update closer to the show.
