With WWE confirming today that Cardiff's Principality Stadium will host an event on Saturday September 3rd, I can finally share a betting idea I have had since I became aware of the reports of the show.
I feel it's safe to predict that Drew McIntyre will be in a good position on that card considering he's, at this moment, the top British star in the company. If he is in the title match, then I have gambled on one way he could get there.
A few weeks ago, I backed McIntyre to win the Money in the Bank briefcase thinking that - if the British show were to take place in September - a title contract win on July 2nd could neatly set up his challenge by declaring he'll take his shot in Britain.
He's still available at the 12/1 I picked up from Paddy Power /Betfair.
Earlier this year, when Kambi released Money in the Bank outright markets, I pointed out that one idea I had for the women's Money in the Bank match had become nullified.
I felt that Tegan Nox would have been a superb choice to win the briefcase with a potential challenge for either of the titles taking place just down the motorway from where she grew up.
WWE releasing Nox (Nixon Newell) feels even more short-sighted now that Cardiff has been confirmed as the venue.
