How Kambi Settled Its WrestleMania Backlash '22 Observer O/U Markets

For this year's WWE WrestleMania Backlash, Kambi's Wrestling Observer star rating markets covered only the over/unders. Those markets were settled last week following the release of Dave Meltzer's review of the event.

All of the matches of the May 8th show had over/under star ratings lines priced up. 

The lowest line was the 1.75 which was set for the Bobby Lashley versus Omos match. The contest received one-and-a-quarter from Meltzer. Therefore, the winning selection was 'Under 1.75 Stars'.

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins had the highest line. Theirs was 4.5 Stars, which was a quarter higher than what they actually achieved a month earlier at WrestleMania 38. They were able to top the Mania contest by hitting the 4.5 in the report resulting in '4.5 Stars or More' being the winning pick.

Four-and-a-half stars was also awarded to the main event which saw The Bloodline best the team of Drew McIntyre and RK-Bro. The rating meant that '4.25 Stars or More' was settled as the correct result.

The only other bout which was graded in favour of the '..Or More' option was the' "I Quit' match which saw Ronda Rousey claim the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship from Charlotte Flair. Kambi's oddsmakers had set the line at 3.75. The match was rated four-and-a-quarter by Meltzer.

Baron Corbin versus Madcap Moss was rated half-a-star below its line of 2.75 Stars while Edge's win over AJ Styles received three-and-a-quarter stars resulting in 'Under 4 Stars' being the winning play for that contest.
