How Kambi Settled Its WWE MITB 2022 Wrestling Observer Star Ratings Markets Plus More

Kambi settled its WWE Money in the Bank 2022 Wrestling Observer Newsletter star ratings markets once the July 11th issue of the publication was released last week.

In the Over/Under star ratings markets, five out of six fell under their respective lines.

The bout which performed over its line was the tag team match between The Usos and The Street Profits. It scored four-and-a-half stars from Dave Meltzer. Kambi had the line set at four stars.

The Usos and Street Profits bout was put in a head-to-head special against the Ronda Rousey versus Natalya match for the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship.

The tag match beat the women's title contest by one-and-a-quarter stars. Going in, the eventual winner had started out as a 13/25 favourite and was cut into 2/5 by the evening of the show.

Kambi also created three prop markets for the event. All were graded in favour of 'No'.

In the first, Kambi asked its customers whether there would be a difference of half-a-star or more between the top rated match of the night and the next best.

The men's Money in the Bank ladder match received four-and-a-quarter stars in the report. Therefore, there was only a quarter difference between it and the tag team match.

The winning selection was 19/20 while the losing pick - 'Yes' - was a 3/4 favourite.

With no matches tying for match of the night, the prop which asked whether there would be 'Joint Winners' resulted with 'No' graded as an 11/25 winner.

As you'll see in the Over/Under results table above, only two matches on the card were given at least four stars from Meltzer in his review. This meant that 'No' won in the prop which asked whether or not there would be over two-and-a-half matches graded four stars or higher.

The eventual winner was an 11/20 favourite when I first came across the market on the morning of the show. A few hours later, the selection had been reduced into 4/9 while its opposition was pushed out to 6/4 from 5/4.

Next up for Kambi's WWE/Observer coverage is SummerSlam 2022. As of the time of writing, the oddsmakers had released Over/Under markets for three of the matches. Their lines can be found in the table below.

The Logan Paul versus The Miz markets have been taken off the board. I surmise that's down to it looking very possible that the contest could end up being a tag match with Tommaso Ciampa teaming with The Miz to take on Paul and AJ Styles.

Before the market was taken down, it appeared as though the customers were expecting the match to be graded under its line of three stars or more.

The price for 'Under 3 Stars' started out as a 3/4 favourite early this month. It was then at 4/6 when the market was refreshed a week later. It was then at 13/25 three days ago.

'3 Stars Or More' drifted out from 19/20 to 13/10 - with a stop at 27/25 - in this period.

As for the other markets, the customers appear to have backed Roman Reigns .vs. Brock Lesnar to get '4 Stars or More' because the selection's price has been snipped from 4/5 into 4/6 while the option to bet on the match receiving less than four stars has been pushed up from 9/10 to 27/25.

The early changes made to the market for Pat McAfee versus Happy Corbin sided with '2.75 Stars or More' because it fell from 3/4 into 7/10 while 'Under 2.75 Stars' was pushed out to EVENS from 19/20.

It now has  'Under 2.75 Stars' down into 4/5 favourite and the opposing selection is up to 9/10.
