How Kambi's MITB Selections Moved Leading Into Today

I have spent an hour or so this afternoon putting together a couple of tables to show how the Money in the Bank outright selections - from Kambi - have altered in the run up to today's event.

As you'll see, in both tables, I started with the early prices from January 30th. That was when Kambi first published a market for this year. I could have added a few further dates between January up to today, but chose to pick things back up from June when the WWE TV focus was on building up the two matches.

If you've followed the 'WWE Money in the Bank betting' posts here since early this year, you are bound to have came across a few posts in which I made a case for Drew McIntyre to win the ladder match as a way to set up his title challenge at WWE Clash at the Castle. I suppose it is still a possibility. However, I am of the opinion that the bookies have the correct favourite in Seth Rollins. He started off at 12/1, but is odds-on with a price of 1/2.

The Cody Rhodes interview from Monday night, in which he played out a scenario in which Rollins wins the briefcase, cashes it in to become champion to eventually lead to Rhodes as his challenger.

Speaking of scenarios - a friend of mine had been telling me for weeks that he believes Rollins will cash-in during the main event in Cardiff. I've started to come to thinking that is what will happen should Rollins leave with the briefcase tonight.

Too much is being made out of Rollins possibly repeating the WrestleMania 31 cash-in by doing it once again during a match consisting of Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar when they face-off at SummerSlam.

Rollins messing up Drew McIntyre's wish to win the title in front of a live 'home' crowd could be the big story coming out of the September event.

As for the women's market, you'll notice that Rollins' real-life wife, Becky Lynch, is also an odds-on favourite.

Kambi initially had Lynch at 17/2. This would have been when she was in possession of the WWE Raw Women's Championship. As of the time of writing, a win for Lynch will pay out at 4/5.

My main pick, in the months leading up to tonight, was Lacey Evans. My reasoning was due to the fact that Evans' character had been repackaged following her return from maternity leave.

Just like with McIntyre, I am not as confident in my pick as I was weeks ago. That's likely due to thinking that the Rollins and Lynch wacky characters - as Mr and Mrs Money in the Bank - is something I am sure has been considered as an idea.
