With WWE's thirty-sixth annual Survivor Series taking place tonight, I've visited the BetOnline website this morning to share with you the latest odds and notes about how the punters have been wagering since gambling commenced on the event.
Ronda Rousey .vs. Shotzi
I first began following the market for Ronda Rousey's WWE Smackdown Women's Championship defence against Ronda Rousey on November 12th. At the time, the titleholder was a -2,000 favourite. By the 22nd, her price had dropped into -4,000.
With Rousey's odds declined, BetOnline pushed Shotzi out to +850 from +700.
Triple Threat for the WWE US Championship
Seth Rollins was initially a -250 to retain the WWE US Championship with a decision over Austin Theory (+180) and Bobby Lashley (+800) when the market was up on Wednesday.
When I checked in yesterday afternoon, I noticed that Lashley's odds had reduced into +1,200. This forced the bookmakers to move the titleholder's price to -300. However, Austin Theory stayed at +250.
By yesterday evening, Rollins was back into -400, Theory had moved up to +250 and Lashley stalled at +1,200.
AJ Styles .vs. Finn Balor
BetOnline opened the market for AJ Styles versus Finn Balor with the former a -200 favourite over the +150 for Balor.
Four days later, Styles' price had dropped into -400 while Balor's drifted to +250. However, since then, Balor's price has been moving in. It was +225 last night and was +200 when I visited the website this morning.
As a result of Balor's odds moving in, the bookies have moved Styles price as a favourite from -400 up to -350.
Women's War Games Match
I haven't been able to watch last night's Smackdown yet, so I don't know if Becky Lynch has been revealed as the fifth member of Bianca Belair's team to take on Bayley, Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley.
With that said, the market hasn't changed overnight. In fact, I haven't noticed any adjustments since Thursday afternoon's visit. What has been evident is the punters are siding with 'Team Belair' because the selection, after being +250 on Tuesday, fell into +225 on Wednesday and was then at +200 a day later.
Men's War Games Match
The market for the men's War Games match currently lists both sides at -120 pick 'ems. This was not how they started, though.
On Tuesday, BetOnline listed the Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens as +120 underdogs to The Bloodline's -160. A couple of days later, the underdogs had slid into +110 while Roman Reigns' group had moved up to -150.
A day later, the selections were moved to their current odds.
I hope to return later on today with updates. If not, there will be a post noting the closing favourites ahead of the event.
