I have been following the WWE Crown Jewel 2022 betting markets at BetOnline and selected European sportsbooks since they were first installed. Now that we're almost a day away from tomorrow evening's show, I'll share with you what I've noticed from my visits.
Roman Reigns .vs. Logan Paul
BetOnline's market for what should be the main event of the evening has been available ever since the match was first announced in September. Neither selections' price has changed in that time. The Undisputed Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, is a -5,000 favourite over his challenger (+1,000).
Over here in Europe, Paddy Power had Reigns at 1/14 and Paul at 11/2 in September. However, the odds for Logan Paul are currently into 3/1 while Reigns is up to 1/5.
Sky Bet has also apparently seen customers take a gamble on Logan Paul.
As you can see, in the table above, a decision in favour of the challenger was being offered at odds of 15/2 in Sky Bet's book on Tuesday evening. A couple of days later, his price dipped into 11/2 while Roman Reigns' odds were moved up from 1/20 to 1/10.
The Usos .vs. The Brawling Brutes
BetOnline has been offering The Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos, as -4,000 favourites against The Brawling Brutes since I first began tracking odds for their bout at the start of the week.
The markets for this match remain unchanged at Sky Bet and with Kambi. The former lists The Usos as 1/8 faves while the latter has them at a shorter 1/16.
Kambi lists The Brawling Brutes as 6/1 underdogs. Sky Bet has them at 9/2.
Brock Lesnar .vs. Bobby Lashley
The Brock Lesnar .vs. Bobby Lashley BetOnline market had Lesnar as a -400 favourite to Lashley's +250 when I first started taking notes on October 19th. Since then, I've witnessed Lesnar's price move in.
As a result of Lesnar evidently being backed by BetOnline customers, the odds for a Bobby Lashley victory have increased to +300 over this period.
Alexa Bliss and Asuka .vs. Damage CTRL
The most recent market to be created has been for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship rematch between the new titleholders - Asuka and Alexa Bliss - and the former titleholders Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky).
With Asuka and Bliss moving in, BetOnline has now placed Damage CTRL at odds of +275 to entice anyone who may believe Monday's result was done in order to have a title switch on tomorrow's card.
The O.C. .vs. The Judgment Day
BetOnline opened its market for the six-man tag with The O.C. as -400 faves over The Judgment Day (+250). The market remained at those prices until a few hours ago when the favourites were trimmed into -500 and The Judgment Day selection was pushed out to +300.
In a slightly opposing story, Sky Bet had The Judgment Day as 2/1 underdogs on Tuesday but is now offering them at a lesser 7/4.
The O.C. remain Sky Bet's favourites to win. However, their odds have moved up from 4/11 to 2/5 since I started following the market.
Braun Strowman .vs. Omos
Braun Strowman's price to beat Omos has fallen from -700 into -800 in BetOnline's market. A win for Omos is currently priced at +425 after being a +400 underdog since October 24th.
Bianca Belair .vs. Bayley
The odds for WWE Raw Women's Champion - Bianca Belair - to get a win over Bayley in the Last Woman Standing match have been on a decline with BetOnline.
Both ladies were at -120 when I first started following the market on Tuesday. By the following day, the current champ had been established as a favourite when she was placed at -160 over the +120 for Bayley.
Belair had dropped into -185 by yesterday morning and has since fallen into -200.
A win for Bayley will now pay out at odds of +150.
Drew McIntyre .vs. Karrion Kross
I've noticed something interesting as it pertains the market for the steel cage match.
When BetOnline first opened in October, BetOnline's oddsmakers listed Drew McIntyre as a -180 favourite over Karrion Kross (+110). However, on Tuesday, Kross had fallen into -110 while the fave had moved up a bit to -130.
Kambi has cut McIntyre's odds this week.
As you can see, the Scot was a 7/10 fave on Wednesday, but had fallen into 3/5 by yesterday morning. A winning gamble on Karrion Kross - after starting on EVENS on Wednesday - is now being offered at 6/5.
