Sami Zayn's odds to beat Roman Reigns - at tonight's WWE Elimination Chamber event - have shortened in at least a couple of sportsbooks offering prices for the match.
The BetOnline Sportsbook has been offering betting opportunities on the match since February 7th. At the times the market was installed, Zayn was +500 to score a decision over the undisputed WWE Universal Champion - Roman Reigns.
At that time, the titleholder was a -1,000 favourite. Those odds were shortened a couple of days later when Reigns was moved into -2,000 while the challenger was pushed out to +700.
I have been visiting the market daily. Upon today's visit, after I watched Zayn address his home town fans in Montreal - the site for tonight's event - from last night's Smackdown, I noticed that his odds as the match's underdog had reduced into +300.
Roman Reigns remains a favourite. However, his price has moved up to -500.
The British-based firm. Sky Bet, has also lowered Zayn's odds since I visited its website yesterday.
On Friday afternoon, customers would have found tonight's challenger at 11/2, but he is now at 4/1. Reigns - on the other hand - has been moved up from 1/10 to 1/7.
The oddsmakers from Kambi have kept Zayn at 11/2 in the same period.
