WrestleMania Weekend Betting Update For March 22

Yet another BetOnline market has been priced up for WrestleMania Weekend.

This one is for the NXT Tag Team Championship match which was confirmed last night. It'll see Gallus defend the straps against Tony D'Angelo and Channing Lorenzo (+150) and The Creed Brothers (+300) in a triple threat match at NXT Stand and Deliver a week on Saturday.

A champs are -120 favourites.

In a post published yesterday, I noted that BetOnline had created markets for three new matches confirmed for WrestleMania. Two of those markets have been adjusted since the post went live.

WWE WrestleMania 39 Betting Odds

As you'll see, in the table above, betting on the men's WrestleMania Showcase four-way tag team match has seen two selections lowered while the other half have moved up.

Moving up are favourites, The Viking Raiders, who are now at -125. They were -150 yesterday. Alpha Academy have jumped out to +1,200 from +700.

Braun Strowman and Ricochet have shortened into +150 from +200 while The Street Profits - who are 5/6 (-120 US) favourites with the Paddy Power Sportsbook - are now down to +250 from +350.

The field, in the market for Gunther's WWE Intercontinental Title defence, has also dropped since yesterday's post.

Sheamus - who was +135 yesterday - is now at +130 and Drew McIntyre has slid into +400 from +500.

As psychology goes, I find it surprising to see people back Sheamus or McIntyre because the match is being contested between a heel champion and two babyface challengers.

On top of that, the heel has made it clear that he wanted a one-on-one match, so - with the odds stacked against Gunther - I feel the bout will end with a title retention.

The favourite has drifted out slightly from -140 to -130.

It wasn't only those two markets that have changed since yesterday's update. Some of the older markets have changed since I last wrote about them.
  • Omos' odds to beat Brock Lesnar have been taken down from +600 into +500. As a result, Lesnar is now -1,000 from -1,500
  • Seth Rollins has dropped into -500 from -450 while Logan Paul's odds have now reached +300 from +275
  • Finn Balor has now moved into +100 for the Hell in a Cell match against Edge (now -140 from -160). The Demon was previously +120
