Welcome to the live blog for night one of WrestleMania 39. In this post, I'll publish all of the early and closing betting odds for each match on tonight's card shortly after they've concluded.
Austin Theory .vs. John Cena
Austin Theory retained the US Championship over John Cena in the opener.
Theory had opened as a -500 favourite when the market was first installed a little under a month ago. His odds were pushed up to -400 when Cena was backed from +300 into +250 a day later.
The eventual winner returned into -500 this evening.
Men's WrestleMania Showcase Fatal 4-Way
As I had mentioned in many Mania posts, the team was favoured in markets that were local to me, but the selection was still unfavoured in this market until the latter stages of betting.
Logan Paul .vs. Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins won this one. He closed as a -400 favourite. However, as you can see above, the bookmakers installed him as the underdog when the market was first created on March 7th.
Six-Woman Tag
As you'll be able to see above, they entered the match as the favourites. However, the odds for Damage CTRL fell from March 7th's +500 right through to this morning's +140.
The last adjustment sided with Becky, Lita and Trish because their odds shortened from -180 into -200 while Damage CTRL closed at +150.
Dominik Mysterio .vs. Rey Mysterio
Rey Mysterio beat Dominik as the betting underdog. He entered the match at +300. This was up from the +110 customers would have found him on March 27th.
WWE Smackdown Women's Championship
Rhea Ripley won as a closing -2,000 favourite in what was an excellent match.
All adjustments that were made in this market sided with the eventual winner. That cannot be said for any of the other markets for tonight's card.
Ripley had started out at -500 on February 2nd.
Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship
Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens won the tag titles from The Usos. They had entered the match as -5,000 favourites over The Usos' +1,000.
And that's all for now. I'll back later to do this all over again.
