The final night of block matches in this year's G1 Climax will begin in a little over an hour from now. Seeing as the betting markets have started to close at fifteen minute intervals on the BetOnline website, I thought I would show you how the betting has gone.
When the market for the opening tournament match of the evening was first published, both Toru Yano and Alex Coughlin were at -120 pick 'ems. The two selections remained at those prices until sometime between 11:00PM last night and 6:00AM BST today because Coughlin's odds were cut into -130 while Yano's were moved to -110.
Jeff Cobb (8 points) will need a win against Shane Haste (4 points) - and results in the final two matches to work in his favour - to make it to the playoffs.
He's a -200 favourite to Haste's +150.
It appears as though at least one customer has backed Hirooki Goto to beat Zack Sabre Junior in the third match of the night because his odds were shortened from +300 into +250 last night.
ZSJ will enter the match as a favourite. However, his odds will be up from its earliest -500 to -325.
Goto is on six points and Sabre is on eight.
