I have already made a couple of visits to the BetOnline Sportsbook's markets for the quarter-finals of the G1 Climax tournament that should begin at around 12:30PM BST today.
Of the four markets available, a couple differ from when I wrote about them last night.
The first G1 playoff match for 2023 has D Block winner - Tetsuya Naito - taking on Hikuleo, who was the runner-up in A Block.
Their odds are still showing as -1,000 to Naito while his opponent is +500.
Will Ospreay remains a -600 favourite to beat David Finlay (+350) in the second playoff.
The market for SANADA .vs. EVIL has been adjusted for EVIL because his odds have been snipped from +425 into +400.
I suppose it's plausible for EVIL to beat SANADA in this spot. The win would set EVIL up as a challenger for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship post-G1.
With EVIL's price reduced, BetOnline has moved SANADA up to -700 from -800.
If the New Japan website is correct, Kazuchika Okada .vs. Zack Sabre Jr. will be the final match of the night.
When I came across the betting for this match last night, it had Okada as a +100 underdog. Those odds had dropped into -110 sometime before 5:45AM BST this morning.
