In this post, I'll go through each market for the matches that have been confirmed for the event and point out the earliest and most recent prices to highlight who the punters have sided with leading in to today's event.
World Heavyweight Championship
Gunther is currently a very strong favourite to retain his World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton.
Gunther is currently a very strong favourite to retain his World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton.
When I first came across the betting on Wednesday August 7th, the bookmakers listed the titleholder as a -3,000 to Orton's +900. Within three days, those odds had changed with Gunther cut into -5,000 and Orton out to +1,200.
Those prices remained stationary all the way through to sometime between yesterday afternoon and sometime this morning because the favourite is now priced at -10,000 while his challenger is +2,000.
The market for the other major title match on tonight's card has been changed recently.
As you can see above, the bookmakers had Undisputed WWE Champion - Cody Rhodes - favoured at -6,000 ever since the market was available around August 13th. However, sometime between yesterday and this morning, I've noticed Rhodes' odds have been moved into -10,000.
On the other side of the betting, Kevin Owens has drifted to +2,000 from +1,500.
WWE Women's Tag Team Championship
BetOnline had the current WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn (The Unholy Union), as -200 favourites to successfully retain their straps against previous titleholders - Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill (+150) - when I first came across the selections for this match on Tuesday of this week.
There had been a flip by Thursday which saw Belair and Cargill fall into favouritism. Their odds have continued to decline ever since.
Mixed Tag Team Match
Apart from one instance this week, the odds for Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley to overcome Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan in a mixed tag team match have been on a downward trend.
As you'll be able to see in the table, The Terror Twins were -275 faves when i first began following the market on Tuesday of this week. By the following day, their odds had dropped into -325 and were then into -450 a day after that.
With the interest seemingly coming in for the Priest and Ripley team, BetOnline pushed the Mysterio and Morgan pairing up from +185 to +275. It was at this one spot when Mysterio and Morgan fell because their odds were placed at +150 while their opponents' price, despite remaining favoured, was pushed up to -200.
Priest and Ripley have since found themselves return to -325 thus placing Myssterio and Morgan back to +215.
Strap Match
The BetOnline customers evidently expect a reversal in results from last month's CM Punk .vs. Drew McIntyre.
At SummerSlam, McIntyre got the win. He is currently priced at +600 to beat Punk in the rematch which will be contested as a strap match.
BetOnline had Punk as a -350 favourite when I came across the betting for this bout on Tuesday. The price dropped into -400 by Wednesday and was at -500 a day later. It remained at that number until this morning when I noticed Punk had once again lowered. This time moving into a far shorter -1,500.
McIntyre had started out a +225 underdog.
There are other Bash in Berlin specific markets on the BetOnline website. However, two are for the LA Knight US Championship open challenge which occurred on last night's Smackdown.
For what it's worth, BetOnline had LA Knight at -3,000 to the +900 for 'Any Other'.
As we now know, the 'Any Other' turned out to be Ludwig Kaiser who was a -600 favourite in a 'LA Knight Mystery Opponent' market. That market is also still available as of the time of writing, but should really be off the board considering those events were not planned for Bash in Berlin.
