All but one of BetOnline's markets for tomorrow's WWE Backlash 2025 event are showing different prices from when I last visited the sportsbook yesterday.
Here's what has occurred in the hours since last night's update.
Penta's price, to get a win over WWE Intercontinental Champion - Dominik Mysterio, has been snipped from +550 into +500.
As noted yesterday, the oddsmakers had kept the challenger at the +550 even though they lowered the champion from -1,000 into -1,250.
Mysterio is now up to -900 favourite.
The market for the Gunther versus Pat McAfee grudge match has once again seen the underdog's price dip with McAfee moving into +550 from +600. His top price had been +750.
The interest in McAfee could be due to reports suggesting Bill Goldberg could be on his way back to WWE for a spell. The last time we saw Goldberg was at WWE Bad Blood last October. On that night, he and Gunther were involved in an angle which teased a possible future meeting between the two wrestlers. Nothing has been alluded to since that incident took place.
Lyra Valkyria's price to successfully retain the Women's Intercontinental Championship over Becky Lynch has returned down to its earliest price of +250.
When I last wrote about this particular market being adjusted, it was the challenger's odds moving in with Lynch seemingly being backed from -400 into -500. The favourite now returns to her prices from May 5th and April 29th.
The Undisputed WWE Championship match market has also been amended. However, only one selection is showing a change.
The bookmakers have retained John Cena's price as a -5,000 favourite but have dropped Randy Orton's from +1,200 into +1,000.
So, counting all four adjustments - all have sided with the respective underdogs for those contests.
The unaltered market has seen WWE United States Champion, Jacob Fatu, kept at a heavy -5,000 to beat Drew McIntyre (+600), LA Knight (+900) and Damian Priest (+1,200) in a fatal four-way.
I intend to revisit the sportsbook's website sometime tonight.
