John Cena's final match, a meeting against Gunther, will be the spotlight contest on the show set to emanate from Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.
BetOnline had Cena at +700 when the sportsbook emailed me about the market for the match yesterday evening. I happened to be on the website when I saw the odds snipped into +600 ten minutes later. As a result, Gunther - who won The Last Time Is Now Tournament to be Cena's final opponent - was a favourite with a price of -2,000 but moved up to -1,500 following Cena's dip.
A win for Cena has since been cut into +400 with Gunther now -700. To contrast, Cena is the equivalent of +250 with sportsbooks here in Europe. Therefore, BetOnline has been offering value to those who expect Cena to get the W in his career finale.
The event will also see Bayley wrestle NXT's Sol Ruca and NXT Champion - Oba Femi - compete against WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes.
Bayley's odds have fallen from +300 into +135 since yesterday. While, in betting for the non-title match between the NXT and WWE Champions, the former's selection has descended from +500 into +170.
As can be seen, in the tables above, Sol Ruca and Cody Rhodes are -175 and -250 respective favourites.
