WWE FastLane 2021 Betting Odds For Sunday Morning

I have just visited the 5Dimes Sportsbook's website to see how the betting has gone - so far - for tonight's WWE FastLane 2021 PPV. In this post, I'll run through all of 5Dimes markets and point out how the betting has gone both there and in markets that have been priced up by European sportsbooks like Kambi and Sky Bet.

Riddle .vs. Mustafa Ali

The market for the US Championship match was first installed yesterday. It is unchanged from 5:45PM GMT with Riddle a -350 favourite to get the decision over Mustafa Ali (+250).

To contrast this market with one based in Europe, I have chosen to look at the one Kambi has had since at least yesterday morning.

As you can see above, the market that has been priced up here in Europe started with Riddle as a 7/20 favourite to get the W. His price dropped into 1/4 within four hours and was then down into 1/5 (-500 US) by yesterday evening.

Riddle remains at that price as of this morning.

Shinsuke Nakamura .vs. Seth Rollins

Another market that 5Dimes released early yesterday evening was the one for the match between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Just like with the US Championship, 5Dimes has not changed the market. Seth Rollins is -285 over the +205 for Nakamura.

Kambi's market for the match was published yesterday morning. You'll see below that the punters backed Rollins from the early price of 11/20 all the way down to 1/5 by 11:00PM GMT last night.

As a result of Rollins' price descending, the oddsmakers have pushed Shinsuke Nakamura out to 3/1.

Braun Strowman .vs. Shane McMahon

Another market that was released yesterday, and has not been adjusted since I started following it, is the one for Braun Strowman versus Shane McMahon.

5Dimes lists Strowman as a -145 fave over McMahon's +105.

Kambi's market was published on Wednesday. However, when the match was pulled from advertising, the bookmakers took it off the board. Sky Bet's market - which opened a day earlier than Kambi's, and remained open even when there was doubt over it being on the card, would be a fairer example to see how betting has been going.

As you'll see - Strowman started off as the favourite at 1/2 while his opponent was 6/4. All of the wagering that I've followed has been on the side of McMahon as his price declined right down into favouritism three days ago.

Alexa Bliss .vs. Randy Orton

5Dimes' market for Alexa Bliss versus Randy Orton was released on Thursday with the former a -190 favourite over the +150 for Orton.

By yesterday afternoon, Bliss' price had lowered into -210 while Orton's was moved up to +160.

Sky Bet's market was released on Thursday with Bliss at 1/2 and Orton at 6/4 - fairly close to where they currently are at 5Dimes today. However, as you'll see below, Sky Bet's customers have been backing Orton for the W because his price has declined to 5/6 placing both selections at a 5/6 pick 'em.

Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax .vs. Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair

5Dimes' market for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match has been available since Thursday. I started following with the champs as -230 favourites while Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair were +170.

Baszler and Jax were down to -350 by yesterday afternoon and their challengers were out to +250. Both selections remain at those respective prices.

In contrast, Kambi's market was initially made available on March 13th and has been very active.

The two selections started off level at 17/20 apiece.

Most of the adjustments have been in favour of the titleholders. However, the most recent - which occurred overnight - saw Sasha and Bianca dip from 3/1 into 5/2.

Big E .vs. Apollo Crews

5Dimes' market for the Intercontinental Championship match was published on Thursday with Big E a -155 favourite to successfully retain the strap. There has been a slight back-and-forth in regards to adjustments with the champion and challenger seemingly being backed at certain stages.

As you can see below, the first move went the way of Big E as his price was lowered into -275 however, the next price change had Crews lowered into +155 from +195.

The most recent 5Dimes adjustment saw the challenger lowered into +140 from +160 while Big E was pushed up to -180 from -210.

At Sky Bet, all of the adjustments I have recorded have gone the way of the champ. You'll see below that Big E started off as an 8/13 fave on Saturday March 13th, was down to 1/2 a day later and was then cut into 2/5 on Wednesday.

To add another comparison, Kambi's market has also had most of the price drops in favour of the champ. However, the two most recent changes have sided with the challenger. 

Drew McIntyre .vs. Sheamus

5Dimes' market for the no holds barred match featuring Drew McIntyre and Sheamus was first installed on Thursday with McIntyre a -500 favourite over the +334 for Sheamus.

The first wave of interested sided with Sheamus as his price was lowered into +245 within a day and was then down to +175 by 9:30AM GMT yesterday morning.

Saturday punting saw McIntyre cut from -245 into -420 while his rival jumped to +300. However, a couple of hours later, I noticed that Sheamus had lowered to +250 while his opponent was placed at -350.

Both selections have stayed at those respective prices as of 10:00AM GMT today.

Kambi's market had McIntyre as a 2/7 favourite to Sheamus' 9/4 on Wednesday. 

The moves have been one sided in favour of McIntyre. His price has declined into 1/8 while Sheamus has moved to 4/1.

Sky Bet opened with Drew McIntyre at 1/5 on Tuesday. Sheamus was the first selection of the two to lower as he was placed at 11/4 from 10/3 within half an hour of me finding the market. 

As you'll see, the selections had returned to their earliest prices by Thursday evening, but the most recent drop went the way of Sheamus as he has been placed at 3/1 while McIntyre has slightly been moved up to 2/9.

Roman Reigns .vs. Daniel Bryan

5Dimes' market for the WWE Universal Championship match initially had Roman Reigns as a -475 favourite when I came across it on Thursday night. The challenger - Daniel Bryan - started at +325, but declined to +245 by the following day. 

Hours after that, 5Dimes slashed Reigns' price into -900 and pushed Bryan up to +500. By yesterday morning, Bryan's odds had dipped into +340 with the favourite moving from the aforementioned -900 to -510. 

Reigns was lowered into -600 by 5:45PM GMT yesterday while Bryan moved to +400. 

Both selections remain at those prices as of this morning.

Sky Bet's market has been available since March 13th. It opened with the champion as a very short 1/16 favourite over the 7/1 for Bryan.

The only time Roman Reigns' price has been lowered was three days ago when he fell into 1/6 from 1/3. Other than that, it has been Bryan all the way.

Daniel Bryan kicked off at 6/1 when Kambi's market for the match was opened a little over a week ago. He was lowered into 11/2 later that day.

The market was adjusted on Sunday March 14th with Bryan lowered to 7/2. He remains at that price as of this morning.

How Miz's Cash-In Helped Settle Kambi's MITB Specials (Version 2)

With the Money in the Bank cash-in, from the WWE Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2020 event from December 20th,  being declared void in a subsequent storyline on WWE TV, the oddsmakers from Kambi installed new Money in the Bank specials.

The markets were created because the original ones were settled on an unsuccessful cash-in per all pro wrestling markets being settled on the result at the end of the respective broadcasts.

The renewed markets have now been settled following Miz's successful cash-in, and WWE Championship victory, at last night's Elimination Chamber '21 show.

Four Money in the Bank markets were priced up at the start of the year. 

The first was a prop bet which asked customers whether or not the cash-in would be a successful one. When it opened, the eventual winner - 'Yes' - was a 6/5 underdog to the 'No', which was 3/5.

Going by the betting, it appears as though the consensus thought the next cash-in would also be a failure as 'No' had fallen into 1/2 within twelve days.

The option to bet on the cash-in being a success was raised up to 7/5 due to the interest in the opposing selection.

The 'Date of Briefcase Cash-in' special offered customers three options to bet on. They were: 'Before WrestleMania 37', 'During WrestleMania 37' and 'After WrestleMania 37'. 

The eventual winner started off as an 11/25 favourite. The selection which would have paid out had the contract been executed during WrestleMania Weekend was 9/4 while the option that would have paid out at the close of WrestleMania, had there not been a cash-in, was offered at 2/1.

Looking at the first sign of action, it appears as though the customers predicted the cash-in would occur at Mania because the price for that selection was snipped into 33/20. The other two options were moved up slightly with 'After WrestleMania 37' going to 12/5 and  'Before WrestleMania 37' having a slight increase to 1/2.

On the day before the 2021 WWE Royal Rumble, Kambi republished the market with its favourite - and eventual winner - down to 1/5.

'During WrestleMania 37' had jumped out to 43/20 and 'After WrestleMania 37' placed at a higher 9/2.

When the 'Show of Briefcase Cash-in' market opened on January 5th, the bookies had 'PPV/Network Special' a 1/3 favourite over the 2/1 that would have paid out had the contract been executed on one of WWE's weekly TV programmes.

The eventual winner was down into 1/5 by January 17th and was then at a lower 2/13 a day before the Royal Rumble.

'Weekly TV' closed at 7/2.

'Drew McIntyre' was the winning selection in the market in which customers could bet on the 'Championship Challenged' by the briefcase holder.

McIntyre started as an 11/20 favourite. However, a day before the Rumble, his odds had descended into 11/50.

All of these markets were unavailable in the weeks following the Rumble. However, there was a proposition market priced up for last night's show which allowed people to gamble on the prospect of there being a cash-in during the event. 

Before the market closed, 'Yes' was a slight 4/5 favourite over the 9/10 for 'No'.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 Odds For Sunday Morning

What usually happens on the morning of a PPV is I'd take a look through the 5Dimes Sportsbook's betting markets and then publish a post with all the price changes I've been able to follow. I am unable to do that today because, as of the time of writing, there are no betting opportunities available from the sportsbook and casino.

Therefore, instead of dedicating a post to 5Dimes' markets for tonight's Elimination Chamber, I'll choose to cover the overseas markets from BetOnline and also domestic prices from mainly Kambi, but also a few others.

WWE Championship
The reason why I've chosen BetOnline and mainly Kambi is because the former doesn't have a full range of markets for tonight's card and the others do.

BetOnline's market opened earlier this week with Drew McIntyre a -200 favourite to successfully retain the WWE Championship against Sheamus (+250), AJ Styles (+600), Randy Orton (+700), Kofi Kingston (+4,000) and Jeff Hardy (+5,000) inside the chamber.

By yesterday morning, the champ's price had lowered into -300 and was then cut into -400 by the evening.

The prices remain the same as of this morning.

Over at Kambi, McIntyre started off at 11/20 when the market was first installed on Thursday February 11th.

The favourite was then placed at 11/25 by 10:30AM GMT on Tuesday morning. It dropped into 1/3 before yesterday morning and - as of this morning's visit - has been lowered into 1/4.

As you'll see above, Sheamus' price was lowered from 21/10 into 17/10 a few hours after it was confirmed that he will be the final person to leave one of the pods in tonight's match. 

Another name, whose price was lowered, is Randy Orton. He was taken down from 17/2 into 8/1 yesterday. However, he is now up to 9/1.

#1 Contender To Universal Championship

Both BetOnline and Kambi have markets for the other Elimination Chamber match that is scheduled for tonight's event.

Kambi's was installed a week last Saturday with Kevin Owens a 1/2 favourite. Since then, his odds have been on the rise as the other two babyfaces in the match - Cesaro and Daniel Bryan - have been on the decline.

Cesaro's drop has seen him move into the betting favourite. He was placed at 1/2 sometime between last night and 9:30AM GMT this morning. Bryan, on the other hand, is third in betting - behind Owens - and is currently being offered at 9/2.

The only other name whose price is shorter this morning - when contrasted with yesterday - is Jey Uso, who has slipped from 9/1 into 8/1. 

I made mention last week and yesterday that, even though I think Cesaro or Daniel Bryan will leave the chamber with the title shot against Roman Reigns, Uso would be my next pick just in case WWE ends up doing an angle in which Uso wins and then lays down for Reigns in the title match to give his cousin an easy night.

This leads to...

Reigns .vs. Chamber Winner

Kambi and other domestic bookmakers have a market for Roman Reigns' Universal Championship defence. BetOnline does not have one as of the time of writing.

Kambi's market was first installed a day after the match was announced. It kicked off with Reigns a 1/16 favourite over the 6/1 on offer for his challenger.

The market was reinstalled yesterday morning, after betting was suspended ahead of Friday's Smackdown, with the champion's price down to 1/20.

Kambi pushed the challenger's odds up to 7/1. This is in contrast to how Sky Bet has been adjusting the market for the match.

You'll see, in the table below, that the selection (I've named it 'Chamber Winner') has lowered from 8/1 into 5/1 in the period when betting has been available for the match. 

Reigns remains Sky Bet's favourite to successfully retain his strap. However, his price has risen from 1/20 to 1/9 since I first became aware of the market on Thursday evening.

US Championship

Markets for the triple threat match for the WWE United States Championship have been available for both here and overseas. This is despite there being a question mark over Keith Lee. 

BetOnline currently has Bobby Lashley as a -200 favourite to still be the US Champion at the conclusion of the match. If it happens.

Kambi also has Lashley at the equivalent of -200.

WWE Women's Tag Team Championship

The betting firms that are based over here have released markets for the latest addition to tonight's card - a WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match between the titleholders, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax, and their challengers - Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair.

As you can see, the action appears to be landing on the challengers as Baszler and Jax - who started off at 13/20, but were down to 11/20 by yesterday evening - are now at 1/2 with Kambi.

With the champions' odds moving in, Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair have moved out to 7/5 after starting off  at 11/10 and spending some time at 5/4.

Sky Bet has Baszler and Jax at 4/7 to 5/4 for Banks and Belair while - on the Paddy Power website - customers can find the champs at 4/9 and the challengers at 13/8.

Prices were correct as of this morning. Most were taken from Kambi's WWE Betting Page and BetOnline's WWE Betting Page.

NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day Odds For Sunday Morning

I have been paying visits to the Sky Bet and Kambi markets for tonight's NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day show and have made notes along the way. Here's everything I've noticed so far.

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic - Men
As noted yesterday, Kambi's market for the final of the men's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic was adjusted in favour of MSK when the team fell from 3/5 into 11/20 while Grizzled Young Veterans rose from 6/5 to 5/4. 

When I revisited the market yesterday evening, I noticed that MSK's price had lowered once again. This time, the team was at 1/2 while their opponents' odds had increased to 7/5.

The Sky Bet market started off with Grizzled Young Veterans as 6/4 underdogs. However, their price is now at 5/4 with the favourites now up to 4/7 from 1/2.

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic - Women

Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart are the punters' picks to win the women's version of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

As you'll see below, Moon and Blackheart are now 1/2 favourites with Kambi. When I last wrote about their price, I noted the team had dipped into 7/10 from 4/5.

With the favourites' price moving in, triumph for Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez will now pay out at odds of 7/5. This is up from yesterday's EVS.

Sky Bet had both teams at 5/6 when I first came across the market on Friday morning. Just like with Kambi, the edge has gone to Moon and Blackheart as they're now down to 4/7 with Kai and Gonzalez moving up to 5/4.

NXT North American Championship

NXT North American Champion - Johnny Gargano - has continued to fall in betting for his title defence against Kushida.

As of this morning, Sky Bet is offering the champ at 4/11 and Kambi has 7/20.

Sky Bet last had Gargano at 4/9 with his challenger at 13/8. Kushida is now up to 2/1.

A slightly lower 19/10 is what Kambi is offering for a decision in favour of Kushida. This is up from the most recent price of 8/5.

NXT Women's Championship

Both bookmaking services have Io Shirai favourite to regain the NXT Women's Championship in the triple threat on tonight's card.

Kambi is still offering Shirai at the 1/3 I noted yesterday. Sky Bet - on the other hand - is offering a slightly better 2/5 - this is down from the most recent price I have of 4/9.

NXT Championship

Finn Balor's prices to get the W against Pete Dunne have descended with both firms.

Sky Bet, which has had markets available for the event a few days ahead of Kambi, had Balor a 1/2 favourite with Dunne at 6/4 on Tuesday morning. By 10:30AM GMT today, the champ has fallen into 1/5 while his challenger has climbed to 10/3.

Kambi's market has been adjusted twice since I last wrote about it yesterday afternoon. By yesterday evening. the sportsbook had snipped Balor into 1/5 from 11/50 and has now cut him once again moving the champ into 2/13.

Pete Dunne has now moved to 7/2 after drifting to 3/1 from 14/5 sometime between 12:00PM and 6:30PM GMT yesterday.
