How McIntyre's Title Win Could Impact Rumble Betting Markets

Drew McIntyre has become the new Undisputed WWE Champion after beating Cody Rhodes in the Three Stages of Hell match which took place in the main event of tonight's WWE Smackdown from Berlin, Germany.

The result could now impact betting markets for the Royal Rumble considering Cody Rhodes' new status.

In regards to Rhodes - Sky Bet is currently listing him at 9/1 to win the battle royal in three weeks from tomorrow. The former champ had been available at 25s a little over a month ago.

Advertised for next week's Smackdown are four qualifier matches. Each winner will then compete in a Fatal Four-Way match on the January 24th episode of Saturday Night's Main Event with the last man standing winning a shot against the champ a week later at the Rumble.

The bouts set for Wembley Arena next week are Damian Priest .vs. Solo Sikoa, Matt Cardona .vs. Trick Williams,  Randy Orton .vs. The Miz and Sami Zayn .vs. Ilja Dragunov.

Going by those names, and bearing in mind the strap is now held by a strong heel plus the Royal Rumble is taking place in Saudi Arabia, it would not surprise me to see Sami Zayn given the spot to challenge McIntyre for the title in front of an audience that would root for him in that position.

By process of elimination, Rhodes is evidently in the cold for now. Hence why he should become one of the potential betting favourites to win the thirty-man Rumble on January 31st.

However, it would be the third time in four Rumbles if such a result were to reoccur.

Drew McIntyre is currently no longer listed in Sky Bet's Rumble winner market even though he was there - at 14/1 - last month.

Notes About Kambi's WWE 2021 Draft Markets

Here are some notes about the WWE Draft betting markets from Kambi that I first wrote about in this post from yesterday afternoon.

Big E, Orton and Riddle's Markets Taken Off The Board

Last night, Kambi suspended betting on the draft markets for Big E, Randy Orton and Riddle.

A friend of mine had noticed that Big E's price to be on the Raw roster following the draft had slid in from 7/10 into 11/20 by 6:30PM BST last night. Then. at around 10PM BST, the market had been removed completely.

The Orton and Riddle markets had no apparent changes made to them before their removal at around the same time as Big E's.

Orton was 5/2 to be aligned with Smackdown following the draft. He was 1/4 to still be on Raw.

The same pricing was applied to the market for Riddle.

Priest and Nakamura Adjustments

The markets for Damian Priest and Shinsuke Nakamura's brand status following the draft were also changed yesterday evening. I've linked these two names together because they're currently the US and Intercontinental Champions respectively. WWE does have a tendency to switch champions in the drafts.

The 'Smackdown' selection, in Priest's market, has been lowered from 7/2 into 19/10 while the option for him to remain a part of the red brand has remained a favourite albeit with a now better price of 7/20 from 2/13.

'Raw' - in the King Nakamura market - has slipped into 5/2 from 3/1. The option to gamble on him still being a member of the Smackdown roster following the draft is a 1/4 favourite. However, it was previously 1/5.

I had backed 'Smackdown' for Damian Priest and 'Raw' for Nakamura when the market was first published on Saturday afternoon. The reason why I made those bets is because of the trend I noted above where titleholders have been switched across brands during many drafts in the past.

Alexa Bliss' Odds To Move To Smackdown Lowered

Another market I bet on Saturday afternoon was the one which allows customers to gamble on which brand Alexa Bliss will be a member of following the draft.

At 5/2, I felt 'Smackdown' was worth a gamble despite Bliss contending for the WWE Raw Women's Championship before the draft takes place. The selection was cut into 2/1 last night.

More About Rollins and Lynch

In yesterday's post, I mentioned having gambled on both Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch to be associated with Raw following the draft.

Both of those markets have reduced yet again.

As you can see, 'Raw' has been shortened from 3/1 into 5/2 for both wrestlers. 'Smackdown' remains a favourite, but it has risen up slightly from their previous prices of 1/5 to 1/4.

Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks To Raw Lowered

Another thing I wrote about in yesterday's post is how I believe that - if Bianca Belair does not regain the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship against Becky Lynch at Extreme Rules 2021 - that it would not surprise me if she gets an 'out' by being shifted to Raw. 

I gambled on 'Raw' at the 7/5 on Saturday afternoon, but it wasn't until last night when the selection was snipped. It is currently 11/10.

Those who expect Belair to still be on Smackdown from October can now get the selection at 13/20. This is up from 1/2.

With their SummerSlam match cancelled, Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks have unfinished business. Therefore, it could explain why Sasha Banks' odds to also move to Raw were shortened yesterday.

Kambi is now offering even money for Banks to be on the red brand following the draft. The selection started out at 23/20 on Saturday.

Sasha to still be on the Smackdown roster has moved up from 8/13 to 7/10.

2021 WWE Draft Betting Markets Released

With WWE reportedly set to host another one of its drafts next month, Kambi has published markets in which customers could gamble on which brand certain wrestlers will be assigned to once the moves have been completed.

The markets were first installed yesterday afternoon. I revisited them this morning and noticed three have been adjusted.

Drew McIntyre's price to be a member of Smackdown was initially priced as an 11/25 favourite. It has since dropped into 2/5.

The option to gamble on McIntyre remaining on the Raw roster following the draft has been increased from 7/4 from 8/5.

If McIntyre were to cross brands, I believe there has to be a top-tier babyface moved in to replace him. Going by how Smackdown showed Seth Rollins remorseful for how his match with Edge went on Friday night, I can't help but think that Rollins could be moved back to the red brand as its top babyface.

When the Seth Rollins market was published yesterday, Kambi was offering 'Raw' as 7/2. I backed the selection at that price. It has since declined into 3/1.

Those who believe Smackdown will remain Rollins' home following the draft can now get 'Smackdown' as a 1/5 favourite. It was previously a shorter 2/13.

It should be worth noting that, in usual cases, I would gamble on real-life couples being kept together on the same brand. There are a lot of reasons why it might not be wise to punt on 'Raw' being Becky Lynch's home following the draft, but I thought - at 4/1 - it was worth a punt.

'Raw' has since been moved down to 3/1 with Smackdown up from 1/8 to 1/5.

To contradict my Becky Lynch wager, I have also entertained the idea of Bianca Belair moving over to Raw from Smackdown. This was before I found the 4/1 appealing.

The reasoning is because I have a feeling Bianca Belair will get the decision over Lynch - in the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship match - at Extreme Rules in two weeks. However, I initially didn't think the title would switch hands.

If Belair does not get the strap, I could see her being moved back to Raw to give her an out for not regaining it from Lynch.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out because I believe the Rollins, Lynch and Belair markets are related in more ways than they appear to be.

Or maybe it's a case of me overthinking it.

Late Odds For Tonight's Smackdown Women's Championship Match

Kambi's market for tonight's WWE Smackdown Women's Championship match between Sasha Banks and her challenger - Bayley - have now closed.

When I initially wrote about it on Tuesday, the market had Sasha Banks as a 1/4 favourite while Bayley was 5/2.

The market remained stationary until sometime after 6:30PM GMT yesterday because, when I checked in at 10:45AM today, the champion's price had lowered into 1/5.

Banks was down to 1/8 when I last looked at the market at 6:25PM GMT today.

With the titleholder's odds moving in from 1/4 into 1/8, Bayley went out from 5/2 to 3/1 and was then at 4/1 this evening.

Markets For November 6 Smackdown Title Match Published

Kambi's oddsmakers have released markets for a match that's scheduled for this week's episode of WWE Smackdown.

As of the time of writing, Sasha Banks is a 1/4 favourite to successfully retain her WWE Smackdown Women's Championship against previous titleholder, Bayley (5/2).

Customers can also gamble on how the match will be determined. 

A 'Pinfall' is favoured at odds of 17/20 with a 'Submission' at 33/20 and 'Any Other Decision' at 7/5.

Latest Triple Brand Battle Royal Odds Notes For August 14th's Smackdown

Mandy Rose's odds to win the triple brand battle royal on tonight's WWE Smackdown have been lowered from 20/1 into 17/1.

That is the only change that has been made to the market since I last wrote about it on Wednesday morning.

Naomi remains a even-money favourite with Rhea Ripley in second place at 2/1. They're both followed by Charlotte Flair, Kairi Sane and Tegan Nox who are all in third place at 9/2 each.

A second market, in which customers can gamble on the 'Brand of Winner' still has the same pricing as Wednesday morning. 

'Smackdown' is a 9/10 favourite followed by 'NXT' at 7/4. A victory for a member of the 'Raw' roster will pay out at odds of 5/2.

Triple Brand Battle Royal Odds Update For Wednesday Morning

There have been a few more adjustments made to Kambi's markets for this Friday's  triple brand battle royal to secure a title shot for the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship.

When I last wrote about the markets, I noted that Mickie James had been added at odds of 50/1. This was following her return to TV on Raw. After writing the post, I took a gamble on James because I thought 50/1 was worth a gamble considering she did mention - in her returning backstage interview - that she was looking for gold. However, the interview was interrupted by Lana and Natalya which leads me to suspect that James will have to deal with that twosome in her return. Unless, of course, it was a setup for them to be ousted by James in the battle royal.

Anyway, shortly after placing my wager, James' odds were lowered into 20/1.

Another selection which has shortened since I last wrote about the market is the one for Asuka. 

The Empress of Tomorrow was up from 7/1 to 15/1 after securing a WWE Raw Women's Championship title shot at SummerSlam by beating Bayley on Monday night.

To be frank, I am not surprised to see Asuka's odds lowered today. 

And here's why.

Whilst watching Raw on Tuesday morning, I entertained the thought of Asuka winning the battle royal and then somehow setting up a triple threat at SummerSlam with Bayley and Sasha Banks putting their respective titles on the line. 

I didn't bet on Asuka myself, but - when I noticed her price had shortened this morning - I wondered to myself whether the bettor, or bettors, may have been thinking along a similar line to me.

Sasha Banks' price has been pushed out to 13/2 from 6/1 in what is the only selection that has drifted out.

A new name has been added as well. NXT's Chelsea Green is 10/1.

The 'Brand of Battle Royal Winner' market has also changed since yesterday.

The selection that will pay out if a Raw roster member wins the title shot against Bayley has dipped from 7/2 into 5/2 while the other two selections have risen with Smackdown now at 9/10, from 4/5, and NXT at 7/4 from 6/4.

I don't want to put the cart before the horse, but there might be a conflict in regards to this market should Mickie James end up as the battle royal winner.

That's because, even though James returned on Monday's edition of Raw and it looks like she is going to wrestle Natalya on next week's episode, she still appears on the WWE website as a member of the Smackdown roster. 

James was moved from Raw to Smackdown in last year's shake-up but - due to injury - she was not drafted, so is still technically a member of the blue brand.

Latest Odds For Triple Brand Battle Royal

Kambi's markets for this Friday's triple brand battle royal were republished this afternoon.

Naomi remains a favourite to outlast the other competitors in order to win a WWE Smackdown Women's Championship title shot against Bayley at SummerSlam 2020. Her price, which was 5/4 when I last wrote about them yesterday, is now down to EVS.

Three other selections' prices have lowered since yesterday.

Rhea Ripley is now a 2/1 second-favourite. She was a 7/2 joint-second favourite, along with Charlotte Flair, most recently. A winning wager on Flair will now pay out at 9/2.

Kairi Sane and Tegan Nox are the other two names whose odds have lowered. Both are at 9/2 with Sane dipping from 11/2 and Nox down from 7s.

Mickie James, who returned to TV on last night's episode of WWE Raw, has been installed at 50/1.

NXT's odds to be the 'brand of battle royal winner' has lowered from 5/2 into 6/4 in the other market for Friday. As a result, Raw and Smackdown have moved out with Raw jumping out to 7/2 from 43/20 and Smackdown now at 4/5 from 3/4.

Late Odds For Asuka/Bayley And Smackdown Battle Royal Market Update

Kambi's market for one of the matches announced for tonight's episode of WWE Raw closed a few hours ago.

It was for the Asuka versus Bayley meeting with the stipulation that - if Asuka wins - she'll get a WWE Raw Women's Championship challenge against Sasha Banks at SummerSlam 2020.

Asuka was a 2/13 favourite when I first started following the odds on Wednesday afternoon. At that time, Bayley was 7/2.

The Empress of Tomorrow was cut into 1/8 sometime before Friday morning and had fallen into 1/16 when I last looked over the market at 4:30PM BST today.

A Look Over Markets For Friday's Triple Brand Battle Royal

On last week's episode of WWE Smackdown, Stephanie McMahon announced that there will be a triple brand battle royal on this week's Smackdown. It'll determine Bayley's challenger - for the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship - at SummerSlam 2020

A couple of betting markets for the match were released by Kambi yesterday.

When it was first installed, Naomi was a 7/4 favourite. Her price is now down to 5/4. Other selections have shortened as well. 

Rhea Ripley, who was 10/1, is now at 4s. Another name at 4/1 is Bayley's fellow WWE Women's Tag Team Champion - Sasha Banks - who has dipped from 11/2. NXT's Tegan Nox and Candice LeRae have both dropped from 20/1 with the former now at 8/1 and the latter at 10/1. 

The final selection with shorter odds than yesterday is Bianca Belar. She's now at 12/1 from 25s.

With the selections lowered, others have moved out. You can see those adjustments in the table below.

The second market allows customers to gamble on the brand of the winner. The selection that will pay out if the winner is a member of the NXT roster has lowered from 4/1 into 5/2 while the other selections - 'Raw' and 'Smackdown' - have risen from 39/20 to 43/20 and 11/20 to 3/4 respectively.

Latest Smackdown Bar Fight Odds Plus Look Ahead To Monday's Raw

Jeff Hardy is currently a 1/10 favourite to beat Sheamus when they meet, in a pub fight, on tonight's episode of WWE Smackdown.

This is down from the 2/13 that the favourite started out at.

Asuka is a 2/5 favourite to successfully retain her title. A decision in favour of her challenger, Sasha Banks, will pay out at odds of 17/10.

As well as a match winner market, customers can also gamble on how the match will be settled 'Pinfall' and 'Submission' are both available at 6/5 each while those looking for the result to be by 'Any Other Method' can get 13/10.

Early And Late Odds For Tonight's Smackdown

Kambi's markets for two matches scheduled for tonight's WWE Smackdown have now closed.

In the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship market, the current champs - The New Day - closed as 2/5 favourites.

They were 7/10 when I first came across the market on Saturday evening.

As you can see below, Bliss and Cross went down from 11/20 into 1/2 within the first day. The team of Bayley and Sasha Banks rose from 5/4 to 7/5.

Kambi Publishes Smackdown IC Title Market

Kambi has published markets for the WWE Intercontinental Championship match that is scheduled for tomorrow night's episode of Smackdown.

The match will see AJ Styles defend the strap against Drew Gulak.

The champ is an 11/50 favourite. His challenger is 14/5.

Customers can also gamble on the 'Method of Decision'. A 'Pinfall' result will pay out at 3/5, a 'Submission' is 2/1 while 'Any Other Method' is 33/20.

BetOnline's Odds For IC Title Tourney Semi-Finals Plus More

BetOnline is taking bets on the Intercontinental Championship tournament semi-final matches that will air on tomorrow night's episode of WWE Smackdown.

For the Elias .vs. AJ Styles match, the company lists Styles as a -250 favourite. A win for Elias will pay out at +170.

The other match market has Jeff Hardy as a -150 fave. His opponent, Daniel Bryan, is +110.

As mentioned on Sunday, Kambi's oddsmakers have also created markets for the two matches.

Looking at the Bryan .vs. Hardy market, the early move came in favour of the former as his odds went from 17/20 into 7/10 and then into 4/6. Both wrestlers have since moved back to 17/20.

Pro Wrestling TV Match Markets For Week Commencing May 25 2020

Kambi's oddsmakers have released match markets for bouts that have been advertised for professional wrestling TV shows that will air next week. 

In this post, I'll run through all the markets that are available as of the time of writing. I'll also mention a market for AEW Dynamite that was available yesterday, but is currently suspended.

25th May - WWE Monday Night Raw

There are two match markets available for tomorrow night's edition of WWE Raw.

The first is for the US Championship match that will see Andrade defend his strap against Apollo Crews. Both men have been placed at 17/20 apiece.

A triple threat match to determine a number one contender to Asuka's Raw Women's Championship is also being advertised. 

Nia Jax is a 1/3 favourite. She's followed by Charlotte Flair at 43/20. Natalya is 8s.

27th May - WWE NXT

Two match markets have been released for Wednesday's episode of WWE NXT.

There will be a triple threat match to determine the winner of Group A in the Cruiserweight Championship tournament with the winner going on to the final. The participants are Kushida, Drake Maverick and Jake Atlas.

Kushida is the 3/4 favourite, Maverick is 21/20 and Atlas is 15/2.

A cage fight between Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher, which will be refereed by Kurt Angle, is also booked for the show.

Kambi lists Riddle as a 2/5 favourite. A win for Thatcher will pay out at odds of 7/4.

29th May - WWE Smackdown

The semi-finals of the WWE Intercontinental Championship tournament have also had match winner markets created for them.

In the first market, the bookmakers list Jeff Hardy and Daniel Bryan at 17/20 pick 'ems.

The other bout will see 1/5 favourite - AJ Styles - take on 3/1 Elias.

As mentioned above, the bookmakers also had a market for a contest that is scheduled for Wednesday/s AEW Dynamite, but it is currently off the board due to AEW Double or Nothing being held last night.

It was for the battle royal that will determine a challenger for the TNT Championship, which was won by Cody last night. The victor will get his match on the June 3rd edition of Dynamite.

Match Markets For 22/5 Smackdown Plus Note About Raw Market

Kambi's oddsmakers have released markets for the matches that are set for this Friday's episode of WWE Smackdown.

In WWE Intercontinental Championship tournament match-ups, Jeff Hardy will wrestle Sheamus and AJ Styles will take on Shinsuke Nakamura.  The other two contests with markets are the Bayley versus Charlotte Flair meeting and a mixed tag team match.

Hardy is a 13/20 favourite to progress into the next round. A decision in favour of Sheamus will pay out at 11/10.

Styles is favoured to win his meeting with Nakamura. He's 11/25 and Nak is 8/5.

Bayley is 7/5 to Charlotte Flair's 1/2 for their bout.

The mixed tag team match will see Mandy Rose and Mr. Money in the Bank - Otis - take on Sonya Deville and Dolph Ziggler. The former are 23/20 outsiders while Deville and Ziggler are 8/13.

While looking over the markets this morning, I noticed Kambi is also taking bets on a match that's scheduled for Raw.

In it, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross will defend the WWE Women's Tag Team Championhip against The IIconics.

I looked back to last night's prices and there have been adjustments made to the market between then and today.

Pro Wrestling TV And Match Markets For Week Commencing May 4th 2020

Kambi's oddsmakers have released a plethora of professional wrestling markets for the upcoming slate of TV shows.

Starting with tomorrow night's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, I'll go through the viewership proposition markets and share with you the odds for the matches that have been announced.

4/5/20 WWE Monday Night Raw

The TV viewership proposition market for tomorrow night's Raw is asking customers to gamble whether or not the episode pulls in a total average audience of 1,800,000 or more.

Those looking to gamble on the USA Network pulling in 1.8 Million or higher - by backing 'Yes' - can get EVS.

'No' is a 7/10 favourite.

As for the matches, the prices are:

The TV viewership line for Wednesday's AEW Dynamite has been set at 660.000 or higher with 4/5 favouritism offered to the 'Yes' and 9/10 for the 'No'.

There are three match markets on the board for this episode.

Customers looking to bet on the episode not achieving 715.000 plus can get 4/5 for the 'No'. The opposing option - 'Yes' - is 9/10.

As well as the the single TV prop bets, Kambi has installed three other proposition markets.

NXT .vs. AEW Dynamite

In this proposition, customers have been asked whether Wednesday's episode of WWE NXT will beat AEW Dynamite by 50,000 or more viewers.

'Yes' is  4/5 favourite and 'No' is 9/10.

Smackdown .vs. Raw

For this week's Smackdown versus Raw market, clients have been asked to gamble whether or not Friday's show will beat Monday's Raw by 100,000 or above.

3/4 is being offered for the 'Yes' while 'No' is 19/20.

USA Network .vs. The Field

The prop title 'USA Network .vs. The Field' asks whether Raw and NXT will have more combined viewers than the combined numbers for Smackdown on FOX and AEW Dynamite on TNT.

'No' is a 7/10 fave. A decision in favour of 'Yes' will pay out at EVS.

Carmella was back into 2/5 favourite when I last saw the market at 9:30PM BST this evening. This is the price she was available at when I first found the odds a week ago.

In the qualifier for the men's Money in the Bank match, Dolph Ziggler fell from 11/20 into 2/5 sometime between 2:00PM and 8:00PM BST today.

As a result, Otis was moved to 7/4 from 5/4.

When I wrote about the Bryan .vs. Corbin market on Friday afternoon, the former was an 11/20 favourite. His price was down to 1/2 when I last visited the market at 9:30PM.
